Holden Racing UK - Thunder Saloons Qualifying - Brands Hatch GP - 13/08/22

Here is our first in car footage from Saturday.
This is our fastest lap from the Classic Thunder Saloons Qualifying on the awesome Brands Hatch GP circuit.
It was a real struggle to get a clear lap and this was really the clearest lap we had.
The lap time was good enough to get us third place but was ultimately 2.6 second slower than what would be our quickest lap of the weekend that came in race one of the Thunder Saloons.

I was there that day and that car had no competition!! The only car even slightly keeping up was an evo 4!! Even the nascars fell behind

I've always wanted to drive one of these, even though i have no previous motorsport experience but i've always wanted to feel what its like to drive a ZB or VF, all i know is they have alot of body roll, but i would love to drive a holden commodore one day on track

It's got to be hard on the transmission and the brakes. I always get the impression that Brands Hatch is too small a circuit, with awkward corners.

161 laps of Bathurst for the Bathurst 1000 (km). A few laps of Brands Hatch is nothing for a V8 Supercar. They are built to withstand some race day punishment.

You should try doing it in a near standard 60s mini , you need to take your lunch with you it takes that long to do a lap .

Yeh! Im wondering if anyone was pushing there cars as much as these guys? They are a big bashful race car and can handle a lot of punishment. Check out some of the street circuits they race over here in Aus. But yeh! Maybe they were the only ones who felt like having a crack.👍
