Kim Feel’s unique gritty register would go over well in the US because of its standout uniqueness . I’m from the US and his sound caught my attention after the first note. Many of the Korean vocals have the same formula so after awhile you can’t tell who is who except for a few artist. Kim Feel could never be duplicated. Kim stay to true to yourself. No pop songs for you unless you completely make them your own. God bless your career.

I’m happy for you. I had also experienced it. My biological father was abusive with my mother and sometimes towards me but more to my older brothers since I’m the only girl and the youngest in the family.
One day after 10 years my mom finally got the guts to divorce him , my mom got my brothers with her but I was the only one who has to stay with him ( acording to the law)
I was being left alone many times in a empty room and he’d go out and drink with his friend. I was only 6-7 I think. I was so scared of the dark and to sleep alone when I was young. I would always go to mom when I couldn’t sleep since I was so scared of the dark. Anyway, I don’t know if you can say I was lucky but after staying with him for almost a year (even it felt so much longer in my head)my father died in a car accident on the night of my birthday. So after he died I got to stay with my mom and my brothers and she got remarried. We’re now living in Sweden since we moved from Thailand.
It’s been more than 14 years now and as I saw your comment reminds me of myself.
I sincerely hope you can start a new life as I did and always appreciate what you have despite the dark past we may have experienced.

I've never bought all the albums from a single Korean artist except Kim Feel. Unfortunately there aren't that many considering he's been in the industry for a while, but every song he releases is special. The fact that I don't even need any instruments and could listen to his voice alone says a lot. He's absolutely amazing and I love pretty much anything he releases.
I've always love his voice since in immortal songs.. But sadly he's underrated. He deserves more
