I agree. I just came to your channel today. I'm very impressed and feel your videos and channel are underrated. Happy you posted as many videos as you have.
Ameritrash gamers: Guys, do you want to fight an epic zombie dragon in a dungeon while collectively disarming an explosive to save the earth? Eurogamers: Friends and companions, may you wish to partake in a realistic simulation of the life of a woodworker business owner in the 1900s for 2 to 3 hours while we contemplate the joy of labour as understood in the protestant religion?
gamer: why do Ameritrash gamers so enamoured of theme and needing to excite their imagination seem to have no imagination and need the theme explicitly presented as much as possible? I suspect the dragon game boils down to rolling dice and chance and the other own boils down to calculation and optimization. If you put a picture of a dragon and some pirate ninja bombs on Lignum and made the zombie dragon game about wrestling woodcutters, would Ameritrashers want to play Lignum, its just the pretty pictures, or is it in fact, just a different philosophy in style and theyd just want to play the "dice rolling combat" game.
counter point: the art is quite charming, I love the hand drawn meeples, but I don't think this is just a "crappy drawing" I suspect the artist wanted to stylise the classical meeple shape.
I'm glad to see another of your videos. Unfortunately, I don't think this game is right for my group, but I would love to get the chance to play it sometime.

Is this 1st or 2nd Edition?
+Jacob Brown it's the second edition from Capstone Games. I haven't explored the expansions added in the new edition yet
