Bought a C4 on account of this video. Source Audio please send Cyberattack a Vertigo and Nemesis! I already have those two and would love to see what this master can do.
Don't own any of the pedals you review but always check out your videos for your great explanations, animations, and musicality. Keep it up dude, you're killing it.
Woah man. What an interesting video. Love the visual art. Perfect compliment to the pedal and what it does. Did you make all of that? What is it called exactly?
I did all of it, with my friend John Marty, who has collaborated with me on close to everything on this channel. The aesthetic developed while we were making my music videos (also on the channel), and then we started using that style for the pedal vids as well. Glad ya dig it.
Great as always...one question though...can you get ring modulation sounds? If yes, how good are they? Have never tried a digital ring modulator. Any other suggestions about digital ring mods and if they are any good...eg the vitruvian mode by subdecay ( was very disappointed with the m3 so a bit reluctant to get another pedal from the same company that produced that crap...pardon my French . Ps for ring mod sounds c4 or zoia?
The C4 can do ring mod sounds although I haven't spent a ton of time with them. I think digital ring mod is probably fine though-I like the ring mod sounds in the Strymon Mobius, which are definitely digital, as well as the Syntax Error from Alexander, which I think is digital too.
8:46 where can I download this preset? That 3D distortion sounds like a digital heatwave it’s so unique and the piece you composed with it is so beautiful. Thanks
oh man, I would love to do a video on the Tentacle. I have one and I love it, and I've been fantasizing for a while about how cool it would be to make a HTBA video about it. The only hard part is getting to 5 pro-tips, which is a lot for a pedal with literally 0 knobs. Tt would be so dope if I could find 5 things though.
merci pour ce partage _ je suis en train de domestiquer la C4 synth pédale, elle n'est pas trop facile, mais je vois qu'on peut faire de très beaux sons _ bravo
Only just found you here. That was mind opening. I love the idea of a field of distortion, some of this reminded me of plugging into a korg or a moog back in the 70/80's. I just subscribed that was so good.
@@patrickr6505 my only complaint is that it seems like its a lot of work up front to make a bunch of cool sounds. Where as boss has like 128 places to start.
@@MrKadidle51 Well it depends on what you want and need..It's true it's a lot of work to build your own sounds but after a while you get better and quicker at it..And I admit at times I'm not in the mood to get the laptop out to fiddle around with the software..So initially yes the boss is handier and quicker because the sounds are there straight away for you... However what's cool about the C4 is you can download and store up to 128 presets from the community,You can store six of your favourite presets on the pedal that you can toggle..And if you wanted to access your 200 presets you could get a midi controller pedal.. Also you can chop n change user presets to make your own sounds and save them.. Personally I've never made a preset from scratch..I've about 80,and most of them are other people's creations..so you see it's not really that bad because you can download up to 128 presets immediately once you get the pedal..and it's fun browsing and fiddling with the software to experiment.... Anyways I sound like a sales guy..I'd love the Boss too as it has some cool long pad sounds that I'm sure you can't get from the C4....
It has to do with my ongoing fixation with the artificial beauty of NJ suburbs, I can try to explain it more in the next episode of my orange juice thing
I’m definitely going to explain it from the beginning at some point, but in the meantime, this was basically the entire subtext of my music video for INVINCIBLE for instance
im confused with this pedal.... Since you're tweaking so much in the software, why not just use a plugin software to achieve this to begin with, and just record your sounds this way? Whaa? You found sounds in the C4 that we did not know existed. Splendid!!
I literally fantasized about getting this response. Thank you.
this is beautiful and what source audio is all about. i love that everything can be shared with the community. EQ2 rocks!

"Way Back Home" I'm dying. So much great info and inspiration here thanks.
i love that you caught what song that is

the delivery of “now that sounds bad” (10:07) had me dying
You sound a bit like Mitch Hedberg…thanks for the pro tips Mitch…awesome playing too 👏👏👏👏
Two perfect 5ths is a sus2 chord voicing (or add9 without the 3rd or 7th)
correct
I think of the sequencers running separately with harmonic notes as Counterpoint.
Re your video demo.. You’re a Sick Puppy, but in a good way ...🤙🏻
Damn! That’s toxic!! Appreciate the vid.
that cover is one of my favorite things i've ever done in one of these vids

You should release the final track.

this guy is a legit genius when it comes to guitar gear.
Dude really digs cvs
PitchFork+ can do a 5th and a 9th.
What the C4 can do that no other pedal can do: simultaneous monophonic harmonizing and polyphonic pitch shift.
That tone around 5:20 is so awesome.
I gotta stick that on an album at some point
Masterpiece. You’ve unlocked some real cool sounds there.
Thanks bud
Came for the C4… stayed for the awesome music and glitchy Zelda scenery. You’ve earned yourself a subscriber 😎
How did you make this ASCII glitch effects??
two perfect 5ths is just a major 9th, incase anyone's trying to figure that out.
Got one, now I can fail epically at being Jeff Beck and Jan Hamer.
The world needs more dial-up connecting to interwebz guitar solos

as for that song, it's actually the chorus of "Scream" by Michael and Janet Jackson
Nevermind all this I want to learn how to use a wah like Kirk Hammet :) Great sounds once again. Merry Christmas
CVS Pharmacy 4eva!
