    This is an amazing Video. Mr. George Howell, Thank you for explaining the process of freshness. Ironically I'm a Florist and maintenance of fresh flowers is similar to that of coffee. Flowers also emit Carbon Dioxide and Carbon Monoxide when they're deteriorating, which can spoil surrounding flowers. They need to breathe and at the same time need to be at a temperature between 36°-42. Condensation can cause molding with my flowers and I believe that holds true with coffee? Please, Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks

    Hi Brother, How are you doing & how's your family doing.
    Small doubt... I can produce so much coffee decoction in a single scoop by using a percolator. I want to know how I can preserve it caffeine. I don't worry about the taste or smell. All I want caffeine. Any Suggestion How to Preserve. One More Doubt. When i extract from Perculator, Can I heat and simmer the water so that I can concentrate liquid?
    Any Suggestion or Idea. Kindly help. Thanks in Advance

    I store coffee in a Bermeel-Skidney Model No.51 alchripernial formlivoidial container with precaptaneous gas modualtion inflation purge sychnofac valving which maintains temperature at a constant 6 degrees Celcius, plus or minus 1 degree.

      I prefer postcaptaneous modulation myself as it tends to keep the temperature at an even 6 degrees celcius without having to worry about the temperature moving up or down a degree or so. This is crucial as the coffee tends to purge too much once 7 degrees celcius is reached

    Good review but what about the canisters that provide complete vacuum without the one way valve where do the rank?

      They are good for short term storage of freshly ground beans. You don't want to store, for best quality, freshly roasted beans this way. Freezing is best if done properly, see my comment above. Also do some research such as on home-barista.com.

    Sure you can freeze the coffee and keep it longer and the flavors in the cup will be there. But the aroma will be gone and for me the aroma you get from the freshly roasted beans and especially from the freshly ground coffee and when you brew it is very important part of my morning coffee ritual.

      The aroma isn't gone if frozen properly. Don't freeze in the bag, freeze in a vacuum sealed container, preferably mason jars, after allowing a bit of out-gassing prior to sealing. Never freeze in a bag that has a valve or is not fully sealed. Gas will continue to escape which will reduce the quality of the beans.

    I also have some airscape jars, but I read a book where the author says this vacuum-jars aren't that good becat with the air you also push out some aroma out, every time you open the jar and press the air out again, which makes sense to me.
    For the future I'll still use them but I'll put the coffee bags into them, close them using a clip and the push out most of the air.
    I also should buy less coffee at once, I always want to taste all kinds of coffee varieties and roasts, but I don't drink that much coffee.

      that doesn't make any sense :) O2 levels in your coffee bags won't change using this method.

      @@johnmalin4933 I just store them in the coffee bag. Some vacuum containers works better than others, James Hoffman made a video about that recently.
