That's because it's what Liberal White Media pushes and highly promotes consistently, since the talk shows of the 80's and Black Women in general deeply revel in "Color Purple" fantasies, especially Gen Xer's on up
Anti Black Misandry has been an ongoing thing in media since Birth of a Nation and why I keep hitting on the fact of it being an integral aspect of American Culture
These same Black Women screaming about "White Supremacy" are the one's deeply indoctrinated by the covert side of it known as the Left and have thus became the "New Daughters of the Confederacy" destroying the community from within, turning it into an Ethnic Outpost and have became too independent to be interdependent, which is a major reason for them failing in relationships because they refuse to relinquish control over both the community and family, which is why I agree when BS IBMOR stated
"BLACK WOMEN DON'T RAISE FAMILY, THEY RAISE SURVIVAL UNITS!!!"🎯
The numbers of Black women blocking and pushing father's out of their children's lives, along with the help of the court system, far exceeds the Pookies who have carelessly knocked them up and walked out, the Heterosexual Black Male is the most targeted and abused group in America period, from the womb to the grave!!!💯💀🎯

out to work, she met black American Sistas, who taught her a new life. She stopped cooking, cleaning, and

Another significant factor that isn't being mentioned in the deadbeat dad stereotype is 33% of black men are married, which provides even further perspective on the 44% of black men who do have children. A significant number of black men who have children are having children in marriage (myself being among this number), which further diminishes the deadbeat stereotype. Personally speaking I've experienced first hand the false narrative of deadbeat black fathers. I'm a married black men (married to a black woman) with four children. My eldest child is in her early 20s. When she was a baby I would take her everywhere with me and whenever I saw another black man with his children, I'd take a mental note. I quickly noticed I was taking a lot of mental notes. When I would be at a restaurant with my daughter...there were other black men with their children. When I took my daughter to the park, there were other black men with their children. I'd take her to the store and sure enough black men were there. The doctors, school, etc. I saw so many black men with their children, I stopped taking note.....what was supposed to be rare, I saw on a daily basis. I saw it in the hood, I saw it in the suburbs, I saw it in the country. Our community...this country deliberately turns a blind eye to decent black men who are being the best fathers and the best husbands they can be.

Drama-free is the way to be.
As it was said by Eric Killmonger in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, “Do you want to be noble, or do you want to take care of business…like me?”

It seems to me that the most visible black men are the ones leaving their kids and the reason why they’re the most visible ones are because they’re the ones that the women like, while the men who are not having kids and leaving their kids are invisible to them because they don’t have “swag” and the like, so they blame all the men who are invisible to them for the behavior of the men who they like, and the women are responsible for the men who they choose to copulate with, so it’s really a direct result of the traits and characteristics that the women find attractive. This gynocentric misandrist country that’s entirely emotionally biased in favor of women will never have an honest conversation about how the traits and characteristics that turn them on are the same traits that indicate that a man is unlikely to stick around.

I'm a woman and completely agree on this 100%. Us women need to start thinking outside the box when it comes to the way we view our own men.
A lot of it is stemming from unhealed fatherlessness and general misguidance. These women only perpetuate the pattern. Unfortunately, instead of taking accountability of themselves and their real emotional pains, they procreate while in a state of trauma and just repeat the curse.
I'm only saying this because I'm one of the few that escaped the path. It's not easy but there's just as much toxic women out here as there are toxic men.

or google: National Health Statistics Reports : Number 71 December 20th 2013.
You didn't read the rest of the Source of the data
*Interviews were VOLUNTARY; participants were provided information about the survey before being asked for signed informed consent. The survey was reviewed and approved by the NCHS and University of Michigan Institutional Review Boards. The overall response rate in 2006-2010 was 77%; the response rate for WOMEN was 78% and for men it was 75% (28). To protect the respondent’s privacy, only one person was interviewed in each selected household. Further information about sampling errors, interviewing, and data processing is available elsewhere (28-30).Page 2*
So whether or not their data was used, you mean to tell me that all of those (12k +) women who VOLUNTEERED to be interviewed during 2006- 2010, were all childless right?, considering that 3,928 men out of the 10k+ men interviewed, were fathers. Yeah because CHILDLESS women are the only women to ask on whether certain fathers are active or not in their children's lives, right?. Just because the data from the women interviewed wasn't used, doesn't mean that NONE of them were mothers now, does it?. Or why even bother interviewing any of them?. And lets just say the CDC only surveyed women with no kids, they can STILL speak on their experiences with their own fathers because they've ALL been some man's daughter, haven't they?. Yeah I s'pose they all lied for bm as well right?. How was it self reported more women were interviewed than men and out of the 10k+ men interviewed, only 3,928 were fathers?.

The answer to why it's hard to believe that black men can be good is simple: because people need a scapegoat. And proof of black male excellence takes that away from them. To me, a bigger question here (brought about by your line of how we should be selfish as black men) is why should we even care about a "community" that not only buys into the negative narratives, but vehemently deny the statistics that disprove those narratives. A community that cannot even accept that I'm actually good is a community I want no part of.

If black men are actually doing well, it means black men aren't really the problem. Therefore, the fault or blame must be placed somewhere else. And, that's not something black women are willing to be responsible nor accountable for.

A friend of mine from Ghana, had his parents back in Ghana, arrange for him to marry.
He bought his wife back to America, had three kids, put her through school, and when she went
out to work, she met black American Sistas, who taught her a new life. She stopped cooking, cleaning, and
taking care of the kids. The kids would call him at work, telling him that Mommy didn't cook supper, and went out with her friends. He'd have to leave work, and bring them supper, until he made arrangements with the local restaurant that if the kids call, then they'd deliver the food to the kids.
He said that it took eight years for her to become like the average black American female. They're divorced now.

I’m Canadian, so those stats don’t apply to me but I’m making sure that I don’t bring kids to this world until I have the right woman to have kids with, until I am mentally and morally to do so (I think I could just based off these two factors) but finances too, I want to make sure my kids don’t stress like I did, I’m only 24 years old but I’ll wait until I’m atleast 30-35 to do that

I think women know black men take care of their children. They spin that false narrative when he’s done dealing with “her” and leaves “her”, not the kids. But being that the mother 9 times out of 10 get custody or refuse to let that man walk out of “her” life with the kids, makes their claim seem that way because women always get the kids.

I commend you good brother. The only time I'll have these kinds of conversations with women are the ones in my immediate family, but its almost to a point that Im over that as well. Black women have been conditioned to hate us. Especially if you're here to provide more than just a 'D' for them. If you have a brain, forget about it. Even the ones related to me are loyal to the sisterhood first! Including mothers and sisters!

I appreciate your work and wisdom however, the lack of belief in our progress is not something to be proud of. You admit that you don't have vision and can only see the path laid by others. That's not what we need to make the necessary changes in our communities. We require visionary leadership, and not defeated nialism and self importance. That's someone else's culture.
