- In this video I show the results of a few of my entries into the Desert Scale Classic V-17 model car contest put on by the Cactus Car Modelers Club in the hopes that it will inspire some of you to find and enter contests in your areas. Good luck!

Congratulations on the placements. Great job! You are one of the builder's who encouraged me to build. Thanks.
Thank you. That is one of the reasons I am doing these videos, to hopefully encourage others to build.
Congrats for your prizes. Yours are great models.
Thank you very much.
Good work. Every time I watch one of your videos I'm encouraged, and inspired to build. Almost every time I go right to my bench and start. Keep up the great work
I'm glad.
Thank you for your comments, they help encourage me to keep doing videos.

Sooo awesome. I wish I had these competitions around me. Not that I would win anything but man it would be fun
I entered my first local one this year and I ended up winning best in class in curb side slammer the no interior just body details and blacked out windows and wheels mounted with a rod or what ever no detail except body work very hard to place in and box stock and got 3rd for overall in the open class where anything goes and got third in that and I did the Toyota Tamiya racecar kit like you did and I got first in the racecar class
Congratulations!
Great job.. I remember watching the Ford Bronco build, and saying to myself that was a contest car for sure… Awesome work..
Thank you
Nice good job.
Can I ask why you use gravity colors? the US ran GC is a scam.
I know there is some great controversy involving Gravity Colors and I have spoken with both companies and have used both of their paints. I have my own issues with both companies and I have a lot of Gravity Colors USA paints that I still have to use up.
