I recently first time watched the movie Interstellar and I think that wave concept is from there :D Looks cool but I agree it should either do more or it should come in at a later stage. And you should be able to do something against it.
You really should take down your wind generators before the wave hits so you don't lose the resources it takes to build it. Once you get level 2 solar panels you'll not have to do it again.
You didn't want to go for the mountaintop location right above your starting site that has 2 iron, a copper, a quartz and a cobalt in short walking distance?
I guess I didn't explore more in the Demo to know there was a location with all of those that close. But, if it's on the mountaintop - how easy is it to build on? Would I have had to do a bunch of flooring? Because that stuff is kind of a pain (wait a couple of episodes)
@@Wally1169 It's not that bad, although getting water up there is a pain. I ended up building a conveyor back down to the beach for cobalt to supply the machines that required it.
Oh yeah, water would be a hassle. You also reminded me (inadvertently) that there are different floor blocks than the ones I look at a couple episodes after this...

Yeah, it's kind of pointless at this point.

I will in a future episode (once I remember)
Yo bro can i play this game woth my friend on one server? Or its just single player?
It's multiplayer. I haven't tested it, and I don't think there's a standalone server - I think you just play peer-to-peer

@@Wally1169 The foundation blocks, or actual floor blocks? I haven't gotten far in the preview, just the demo.
The foundation ones, I think. The type of blocks that I hadn't used yet (as of e2-3)
