Step by Step | MALM Nightstand IKEA Tutorial

In this tutorial, I'll be showing you step by step on how to assemble the Malm Nightstand from IKEA. This IKEA nightstand should take you around an hour or less to finish. This nightstand from IKEA shouldn't be too tricky to build but if you need some help, this video will guide you along with step by step instructions.

Thank you so much for posting this, I started easy enough with the instructions, but messed up with the screws and had to start again. With your brilliant help you enabled me to put together my 2 drawer cabinet with ease. One of the camlocks didn't catch as the screw was far too long, but hey ho, not a huge problem. Thanks a bunch.

looked up a tutorial bc my top drawer wasnt fitting but you have to kinda angle it on the sliders so its on the lower part before you try and push it in

While the Malm is a nice side table with smooth side tracks, do note that it uses acrylic paint on its surfaces (except the oak finish, which uses clear acrylic lacquer atop a veneer)

Do you happend to know the max weight for the top of the dresser? I was planning on placing a 10 gallon fish tank in there, and I would like to know if I have to add extra reinforcement to the drawer.
