I had to fly home to Phoenix from the Chicago airport when my mom passed. I was distraught so I completely forgot about the credit card knife I carry in my wallet, but I had one of those alumiwallets so apparently the X-ray couldn't see though it or they just didn't care about a 2 inch knife in my purse. I didn't even realize I had it until after I got back home. So I went through Chicago to Phoenix and back without ever realizing I had I knife on me the entire time, lol. I'm more careful now, but really, 4 separate security checks missed it hence why I think my choice of wallet was why it was never found.
Just Wow!! That’s kind of funny and kind of not. So sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. 🙏🏻 thanks for sharing! It astounds me the level of vigilance they are perceived to have yet, miss restricted items. For instance while I was waiting as they went through my bag they were literally examining a young mother’s breast milk in her diaper bag. Like that’s some kind of contraband or toxic liquid. You could tell she’s a new momma and frustrated and the baby was about 11 weeks old.
Showing even commonsense people make mistakes.. but shows why the pain in the bottom TSA is there
Indeed my friend! lol
