It’s banana wood/leaves (most of the time) the sap and resin soaks into the water to neutralize and seal the concrete so when it’s emptied the fish don’t get poisoned.

this is a Good Idea, it takes a lot of time and effort, but the return is Amazing
My only comment as everything else was amazing is why didnt you do more with the roof? I was expecting you to like attach straw or wooden shingles and left bare plywood that wasnt even painted. Could of done better with the roof.
