My pro tip doing it the dry method is to align graphic and tape down edge to plastic in selected areas. This will keep it aligned while you pull backing paper off in sections and apply graphic. Always try applying center and work out air.
Outstanding. Love your videos and I did a search and found this one. My kid won a new set of graphics that have been in the garage for a month now and Ive been pretty nervous about trying to do this myself, until your video. Thank you.
Allways do it on the bike as nearly all graphics are designed/stenciled to be manipulated/heated/stretched to fit correctly,I don't use soapy water for mx bikes,I remove sections of backing paper at a time(generally the size of your hand)and allways use the bolt holes as the reference, misaligned holes are my pet hate with graphics. Main tip would be keep looking ahead and catch the misalignment before it gets out of hand, you can generally allways bring it back with heat if you catch it early enough.
Yall need to come down to east tn and go with me to windrock. We have a bunch of good ST down here. If you’re ever in the area let’s go rip. Idk if you’ve heard of windrock or not but it’s gnarly.
Same with me getting up there. I’m gonna make it one of these days. If you’re ever down here look me up. I’m about an hour and 20 away from windrock and ride royal blue both.

old battler I hear ya. These number plates are so crazy shaped that I worry about mis-shaping the graphics by pulling too much.
I mix about 20-30% rubbing alcohol with the soapy water, it helps evaporate the water.
Jeremy Smith awesome
