Hello friends, happy Saturday! 😊 *** IN THIS VIDEO I USE BUTTER INSTEAD OF GHEE. BUTTER IS NOT SHELF STABLE. I APOLOGIZE FOR NOT SPECIFING THAT. ALTHOUGH I DO KEEP A STICK OF BUTTER ON MY COUNTERTOP WEEKLY GHEE IS THE BETTER OPTION FOR FOOD STORAGE***

Try Rao's tomato sauce (decent shelf life) with either canned chicken or corned beef with your choice of noodles. Add Parmesan cheese and salt and pepper as needed.

Hi Jennica! Great ideas! Toss in a can of Rotel (hot) to your chili Mac for a nice kick and to stretch the dish a little further. The soup looks great!

I use chili with no beans and add a can of beans, it just makes a bit more for hungry boys 😀 the Rotel sounds good too

Use the pasta water to rinse out the cooking pot.

These all look so good! I don't discard the water from the chicken in the chowder and can use less broth or bullion that way. I make a tuna corn chowder, if you like tuna it is really good.

As soon as I drained it I thought the same thing... then I was like "I won't do that again".... then I did on accident with he next meal as well lol. Thanks for the tuna chowder idea, I'm going to try that next!! Thank you for watching!!

I love your imagination with the shelf stable foods. The power goes out here a few times a year and I am prepped for a bad power outage. An ice storm is a real possibility. I have just started on water storage. It took me a long time to decide how to do it. 5gallon or as we say in Canada, 20L water jugs fit under my tub faucet and are manageable for me to carry. They have taps in the lids so they are handy. It will be an investment but convenient as can be.

I use the real bacon bits for all of the things. A little goes a long way for taste. Omelettes, soup, potatoes…everything!

Jennica I love your videos! You’re the first one I recall seeing do shelf stable meals and now several UA-camrs are doing this. I like seeing your methods too, often I have similar ideas but do things differently. For corn chowder I used canned potatoes cut in large dice, whole & cream-style corn, canned ham and Nestle Media Crema. I like the bacon bits! We’ll try that.
I haven’t dehydrated any kale or greens because I didn’t think I’d use them but I like your pasta dish so I’ll dry some of those. Keep up the good work! 😀

Thank you so much Ann! You had me curious so I searched shelf stable pantry meals and you're right, it seems to be a lot of channels are getting creative in their pantry's too. 😊 Thank you for pointing that out, I don't watch much cooking content so it's great to see other people doing similar things. Have a great weekend 💗

It would be super if you could add the recipe to the description box so we wouldn't have to start and stop, write an ingredient, start and stop, write an ingredient, start-- was that what was said last, or did I miss something??? Rewind more...ckeck ingredients...write where I left off after stopping play the ingredient.......
These are good but it's a pain in the rump to get them written down.

I keep a stick of butter on my countertop and also have a storage of Ghee. I apologize that I didn't specify why I used butter this time. I usually do, sometimes I forget that things that seem repetitive to me are things I need to be mindful of because of new viewers. Thanks for pointing that out.
