Hay Chris you do a nice job on all your video's you put up on youtube. Now I know this video is 3 years old but I'm planning on wrapping my Ram in Avery metallic bright blue this summer. I'd say I've watch lots of video's online and yours are really information ready. Now I'm not a wrapper but a sign maker fabricator for about 24 years now and do lots of signage and vinyl on all kinds of materials. I will see how it goes on 😏 and send you pics or a video about it. Thank you for adding these videos for us and for the wrap community keep on the good work to bad your in Toronto I would drop by Cheers!
I just ordered Avery matte black. I just wasted a 15’ x 5’ roll of VViViD ugh. The first mistake was not letting the hood fully cool. The next two were because I either tore a hole or ripped it trying to stretch. I was told Avery was beginner friendly and your video gives me confidence and hope

I haven’t worked with Avery but one time, it’s a Ok film. Very thin and easy to install imo, anyone could install it with the bumpers maybe taking a lil practice. I find it odd you don’t fold the material around the edges of the Hood and trunks etc, I wrap around and trim/cut tape at the factory seem. Always sucks a lil more to do a white car and have a picky customer that wants 100% stock color hidden, did a Jeep Wrangler and they wanted it were if I was sitting in a parking lot you couldn’t tell it was ever white, so I had to do the area under hinges, gaps and so on... huge job I should have charged a lot more for. Haha
Hey buddy, from Ontario Canada! You should hang your camera in a Birds eye view over the area you are wrapping.
I would like to see you wrap a panel without talking to the camera at all. Im interested to see how quick you can do it when you arent talking and answering questions.

If you keep your cap cover from other wraps I use 2 ft sq pieces to squeegee over the unprotected wraps

Awesome as usual. I was wondering why this trunk seemed so much more difficult than the others i've seen you do. It looks much more simple with less contours. Is it the material? Seemed like air was getting trapped much more easily does avery stick much easier?

Love your videos, new subscriber. I'm going for the Avery Dennison Gloss Metallic Brown 😍 I have to do some minor dent repairs before hand so will be sanding some panels down. Do you reccomend spraying back to the original colour and then adding clearcoat or will the adhesive stick to a nicely sanded surface of primer? Keep the videos up!
My personal vehicle is a F-350 Crew cab. Both the hood and roof has to be greater than 6 feet in any direction. Can that be wrapped?

I bought a hood vinyl graphic at the largest size the website offered but when it was installed, the vinyl is short a few inches at the top corners of the hood on both sides because my hood comes to a curved point at the top near the windshield. Is there an option for an overlay or maybe blending using a new piece of vinyl to match the two diff colors at the top of the graphic? Thanks in advance

Hey mate. Thanks for the great videos. I have one question. You cut the hood so close to the edge... Other wrappers cut the foil a few millimeters away from the edge that it's not possible to shrink over the edge when it's get hotter...sun etc. Do you have any problems with the shrinking over few weeks or month? Next week I will wrap my hood of my Mazda 2 and at this moment I realy don't know how I cut it... Closer to the edge or few millimeters away if it's necessary. 🤔 thanks in advance. Have a nice day. Liked the vid aa commentary, please keep talking in your vids, even if just a voiceover after the fact. Also, maybe get someone to read comments & super chats for you....just a thought. Anyway, watched live stream, & unsure if saw comment. Wondering if could do vids for wrapping cars with body kits(like a rocket bunny, etc...) & also the prep on cars like these. Lastly, tips on wrapping custom hoods with vents or difficult body lines would be great as well.
Side note, have you seen new GoPro 7 Black camera? Pretty cool....but pricey 😳

Hey. Christian.... thanks for all the videos and the time that you put into them.....QUESTION..... how do you advertise your service and get your name out there... Is it just word of mouth at first or is there a marketing strategy to it
I'm hoping Christian will get back to you but just in case he doesn't I'll respond... I do know he started wrapping cars with a tarp acting like a roof because he didn't have a garage...he also used his own house garage whenever he had one. When people started loving the wraps he had done on their cars they started to spread the word and it just built up and once it hit...it hit hard because then there was so much work coming at him all from word of mouth. People are desperate for good quality work and someone who stands behind it. It was tough going at first but once it started it never stopped, Rick. Never give up...persevere He, also, has business cards and a website online. Hope this helps.
