  • Video is dedicated to the surfers at the harbor on Jan 10, 2021 that assisted with the rescue of a youth sailing group that occurred later that day where multiple sailing school boats capsized due to the waves (not sure if they were the same surfers you see here. If you know who they were, post their names in the comments). You will see the sailing school on their way out in this video and almost get swamped. There was a large swell plus a minus tide. Check out how strong the current was, even pulls the big ugly buoy underwater! (Disclaimer) The Epic boat paddler was okay after the close call with the rocks. Music courtesy of Jamendo.com

I thought flying a drone on these beaches was illegal?

Drone pilots don't follow the rules especially photographers!

@@cumminsscout Yea you can get a fat ticket if you don't abide, They can ping your drone and find out exactly where you are flying.
I was going to fly mine there by the harbor mouth a couple years ago and decided against it, Apparently you can fly over state and city beaches if you are standing outside their property lines. I try to avoid the cops at all costs! I lost my first drone in the ocean at Scotts creek flying near the bluffs and had to buy another one, needless to say I am way more cautious with the newer one.
