Great video. Picked up a 2020 200rr about a month ago and love it so far. Been riding ATVs my entire life, but this is my first real dirt bike. Harder to learn than I expected, but I’m enjoying the challenge. My first two rides are on my channel. I suck, but hope to be better by the time spring rolls around.
I like your `not overly complicated` reviews. More like a layman`s guide to understanding what the bike is about and not delving into all the super technical aspect of the engineering of the bike (which I couldn`t care less about). What can it do good, and what it can`t, that`s all I care. Thanks!
i dont mean to be off topic but does anybody know a method to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost my account password. I love any tricks you can offer me
Im torn between this and kx250x/yz250fx. Have you ridden 250f-s, how's the power compared to this? How would Beta 200 handle whoops and harescramble type of stuff? Would like to try out a 2-stroke but never actually ridden one.
my 91 cr 250 is amazing and ill never get rid of her. i got it when my uncle died. it was his. i rebuilt the whole bike made it beautiful. no matter how many bikes four wheelers to redo in whatever way I will keep the CR 250 for ever. she’s my forever always ❤❤❤
@@PNWEnduro I haven't ridden in 2 months due to snow and responsibilities but I plan to ride this weekend both days! Btw I liked the 3rd person shots, it's a ton of work doing solo. It's noticed.
I think it’s lame they don’t counter balance it since I’m sure it cost minimal money to do so and once they fix the turning radius this will be a bike to die for! I love small bore just so much fun to ride! Beta is doing a great job
I'm 150 w/o gear. The 200 is peppy, has enough power but does not have the grunt of the 300 X-Trainer. The X-Trainer is a good bike but I would not recommend it for faster or more aggressive riders.
I purchased a 21 200rr partially due to your reviews. I have a TE300I and really enjoy the different characteristics of both bikes. If you're considering a 200, buy one!! Very fun.
What are your initial thoughts of the 200/ 300 forks compared to your KTM AER's? BTW the third person shots are appreciated. I imagine they're a bit of a pain.
How do you feel the 200 compares to the x trainer for a beginner to intermediate female rider? Also have heard the beta counter balance is not as smooth as the ktms, enjoy the vids and congrats on the demo bikes nice to see you getting some recognition.
@Jeff Evans for a beginner/intermediate female rider honestly both bikes would be good choices. The X Trainer has the nice grunt of a 300 but still mellow and easy to ride. I feel the 200 has the advantage when it comes to suspension and for me is more fun to ride than the X Trainer.
@@PNWEnduro I agree the Xtrainer does not fell as light as it is on paper, weight feels high. 200 is better or the KTM150XCW feels lighter & is less expensive than the Beta200, with the savings you can have the 150 professionally lowered and or buy the lower seat. (the 150tpi feels as heavy as the Beta200). The counter balance isnt an issue on the small bore bikes.
I rode the '20 xtrainer and' 19 200 back to back last weekend. In my opinion the 200 is the better package. You defenetly need to work more to keep the 200 in the right revs while the xt is impossible to Stall. The xt has a very nice engine with awsome grunt but hasnt got the typical 2 stroke Hit. The 200 Suspension is superior over the xt ones because the xt Suspension is really soft Also the 200 feels way smaller
@@PNWEnduro Years of Bad forest management, dead tree's everywhere stumps and under growth threw out. Needs a good burn. Nothing to do with the trailers just a side note.

300 "I got this." 200 "You can do this!"
Awsome bike explanation i alway felt like a passenger on the bigger bikes but on the 200 i feel like i ride the bike
Such amazing trails!

@Adonis Trevor Instablaster :)
for me the 200cc 2 stroke is the perfect enduro bike.
Awesome looking single track.
Good info. What kind of saw do you carry? The beta seems a worthy kdx replacement.
@markmtbrider Silky "big boy" folding saw.
I've been missing my kdx for a long time. The 200rr fills that spot very well.

I’m wondering the same thing!
Have you tried one yet?
I have a '19 250. Recently bought it. I'd love to try the 200 one of these days. Maybe a Demo Day when they come to Ontario. Thanks for the vid!
@London Wildman Beta is planning a cross-Canada demo tour this spring/summer.

Great video. The conditions looked perfect.
@Atlas Enduro It's really wet here right now but at least we are not snowed out. Have you been able to ride much lately?

It vibrates😂 I think you could re pack the silencer with tampons to make it much more manageable. Great videos

Hi - great review I am looking at this or the X-Trainer and wonder what riding weight you are? My concern is the 200 being a bit gutless?

Thanks. My aggressive fast days are a distant memory. 😀
You were loaned a bike, and you are putting a new tire on it? Seems very nice of you since you have to return it.
The local Beta dealer put the new tires on, Beta Canada paid for them. Very nice of both of them.

Just rode the 300rr again the other day, feeling more comfortable on the forks than I was at first but It's hard to beat the AER forks imo.
Very nice video . Thanks 🙏
Thanks for watching!
I'm torn between a 2019 beta 200r or a 2020 200? What are your thoughts?
Not much difference in the 200rr from 2019 to 2020, go for the better deal or lower hours.
@@PNWEnduro found myself a 30 hours 2019, and a higher hours 2020 but still not sure, thank you though
Is this on Vancouver Island?
No.
Glad my 19 has no turning limitations.
What gearing? I am running a 14 tooth front.
I just get 2020 200 and start experiments with gearing..now use 14/48 combo with smaller 120/90rear tyre
They fix the main bearing issue?
200 never had an issue. It was a few bikes with a bad batch of bearings.
From what I hear, it's sorted out on the 2020's.
