Still the best game series of all time! Virtua fighter was way way above it’s time!
A really fantastic home version of Virtua Fighter 1. I was so happy to receive this in the mail for free, all part of Sega's apology for screwing up the Saturn launch. Just imagine if Saturn launched in September 1995 as was originally planned, and this was the pack-in game, instead of the original glitchy VF1. It might have helped to change perceptions a little.
Personally, I think this game absolutely smokes Toshinden and Tekken 1 on the Playstation, but I was always in the minority. Oh, well, it's all good. Today, all the classic consoles get along well and we enjoy playing everything.

It does the only reason tekken was more successful was it had more replay value with bonus content and characters to unlock as well as endings while this series just gave you the credits and it was over

I wish there was an option that allowed you to use the original character models. I like the old polygon graphics.
Good thing Virtua Fighter PC lets you do exactly that! It's otherwise the superior Virtua Fighter Remix port like on Saturn, with some additional content
Yeah, I think the original polygon models look better. They got Jacky's colours wrong too, he is supposed to be dressed in brown, not red.

I think it would have been so awesome if they made a video game called "Virtua Fighter VS Tekken. For example Pai VS Michelle and Sarah vs Nina.
@@philipjennelle4257 there was a virtua fighter vs tekken for megadrive, as ludicrous as it sounds, a vf2 for megadrive bootleg, but there was one
