    No adjustable rear sway bar? Pedders and Hotchkis both make them and they make a difference in handling.

    Brother i noticed you install the offset bushing on the outer section how did that work for you ? I recently bought the whiteline bushings and they got instructions to install the offset one at the inner section what will be the difference and why you rather install like you did ? Thanks

      @@boostedlancer7957 I installed it in the location I did for camber adjustment we had it on the alignment rack and it worked perfectly at adjusting camber I honestly did a bunch of research when I first did this install and I can’t remember what the other location adjusts but I needed camber adjustment for the big drag radials and how my car sits with the drag springs and Viking double adjustables sorry I couldn’t be of more help thanks for checking out the channel I appreciate the support! 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

    Kinda wish I would have removed my rear sub frame for the stabilizer bar install. Btw imo with poly bushings it doesn't matter if you torque em at right height. I torqued mine down and was able to move them through their full range of motion without them wanting to return to the position they were when I tightened them.
    I should have gotten that differential mount, I just used a Whiteline poly insert. The gforce looks like a good middle road between that and a Harrop.
    Lol that 72lb ft for the rear end links is from the manual. I wonder how many dealerships broke those bolts early on.

      Good to know about the ride height thing it sounded plausible so I went with it
      And yeah exactly my thoughts great middle road for the g force brace I have been happy with it so far
      And yeah 72ftlb kinda made me lol

      @@bought2build I did it at ride height when I did coilovers last year. And I still do it with the rear shocks too. I just finished up on the rear suspension a few months ago, wish I could have seen this video first. It wasn't bad once I got into it but I kept putting it off all winter because I didn't know what I was doing.

      @@bought2build right on I just subbed. I'm still surprised how I'll find someone on here putting GTO content up that I haven't seen yet. I've got the ctsv brembo brakes videos up, all suspension, and right now I'm editing headers videos so the rest of those will come out in the coming weeks.

    I upgraded from this setup, with bc shocks not Viking, to the gforce/strange coilover. And now I have wheel hop. Tried all kinds of different settings and nothing helps reduce the hop.
    I have an extra set of rear control arms with dba rotors already on them, I’m going to go back to this setup and sell my gforce setup.

      I got mine from BMR but just a heads up even tho they say direct replacement you may need to get a 1” or 2” extension depending on your ride height with mine with the drag springs and what not I had to run a 2” extension because they are almost maxed out I called Viking to ask them what they recommend and that’s what they told me so they sent me a set of the extension’s other than that tho I have been extremely happy with them
      Here is a link to where I ordered mine

      @@bought2build Gotcha I have the Pedders zero drop drag springs. Thanks for the info also last question I had to run a tap through the lower shock mount so I always run a nyloc nut on the other end with the Viking I know you have spacer there but is there enough threads on other end for a nut? Or would I need to seek a longer bolt then what the shocks come with ? Thanks again

    • @bought2build
      @bought2build  2 роки тому +1

      @@BenTheAVGNFan oh ok not sure what the ride height for the zero drop springs are. I run the pedders X-drag springs they are actually a bit of a raise so I needed the extension you may or may not honestly not sure with your spring. If you need to be able to get a nut on the back side you may have to get a longer bolt. Personally I would try to find one that has the shank where the shock eye will sit, instead of using a fully threaded bolt just because where it rides it could roll over/crush the threads slightly. Although it may not really matter for any other reason but if that happens it may create a little slop between the bolt and eyelet and the less movement the better in my opinion best of luck! 🤟🤟

    Did you not align the rear subframe? It will crab all over the road if not.
