Noted your Travel advice that one should visit these falls from July to sept and that too from 12noon to 4pm To avoid avoid overcrowding and getting best view of falls. I am from shimoga, yes we have backwaters in jog falls where we can stay.
Sagara to jogfalls 27 kms we can go by bus ❤️
Shivamogga having 30% tamil population.. They are migrated for Bhadravathi Steel factory several years back..
You have to get down (about 700 steps) to feel the full might of Jog. One more Correction. Name of the Falls is not "ஜாக் ஃபால்ஸ்". It is actually "ஜோக் ஃபால்ஸ்".

It's not joke falls ... Actually it is Jog falls.
You should go to the bottom of the falls and then only you can hear the roaring sounds of Raja and Rani Falls

Best season to visit jog falls and western ghats is from September to December you can go to top of jog also to see top view in mungaaru male movie

Bro !! In shimoga , there is quite number of Tamilians are there. Most of them settled down from decades. There were many Tamil schools were there in 60's to 2010, now I think one or two left now. My mother worked as a Tamil teacher.
