It’s closed by electric and most if not all are that slow. You even have to hold the close button ( maybe to avoid accident)

Piercing shrill whistle just might do the trick (something I learned to do as a kid with no instrument other than my mouth and fingers). Thanks for this - don't think I'll ever encounter a bear but if I do, that's what I HOPE I'll remember. They don't like loud noises.

When I lived in the Smokey Mountains I had a few close encounters. This guy handled the situation really well.
At the very end it shows another bear in the lower right corner. Where did he come from? How did he get pictures from 2 different angles. ? Who was taking them? Somethings off here.
