Thats his keys, Gump. He''s either trying to make the fob beep & scare the bear, or he wanted to make sure the door was unlocked so he could jump in it quick. You can even see a silver key swinging as he's pushing buttons on the fob key lol.

It’s closed by electric and most if not all are that slow. You even have to hold the close button ( maybe to avoid accident)
