Just gotta practice with each gun, switching between planes with different guns makes it more difficult. Just stick with one till you understand it then go to the next@@-Ghost-3

f16 is worse than mig 29 imo
mig29 loses to an f16 in a dogight, objectively. however soon the mig will have better missles, so idek

r27er is like twice as fast as the aim7m and also pulls more gs
that means the bvr advantage already goes to the mig.
the aim9l isnt any better than the r60m by this point and even when apex was released it didnt make a diff.
draw in the ir department at best scince theres still the 27t wich has WAY more range than any aim9 variant.
the russians CLEARLY have a big advantage in terms of armament rn and dogfighting isnt what you do in hightier games.
you try to catch people off guard blowing them out of the air either with guns or missiles while staying fast yourself until the very late game. thats where 1v1 or 1v2-5 become a thing.
this requires instantanious turn in many cases otherwise youre only missing shots on people that are actually aware of your presence.
if youd look right you can see that in this video most of the kills were done on people that barely reacted or didnt react at all.
if someone actively tries to avoid you (like the mig23 who did it wrong but at least tried) it becomes hard to impossible to hit them simply cuz this thing is such a damn brick.
you wont get the lead required to make a shot until very low speed....and thats what kills the plane.
i get that most people dont notice that as they die before getting even 2-4 kills and will only remember their "epic dogfight" before getting blasted out of the sky, but for people that like to carry games and survive most engagements due to pure skill thats completely unacceptable -> hence why almost ANY top player right now favours the mig29.
YES the f16 is better in a custom game but NO its not even close to beeing equal in air rb (potential wise)
im not saying you cant do well with it but consistency is key here.
you can pull off a 3.5-4.5kdr with 2kpm in the 29 without issues while that becomes a really hard task that involves a lot of specific strategies once you try to do that with the f16
