  • We proudly present the Director's Cut of the European Roadtrip leg of our trip including leaving home in the United States, our first few weeks in Germany, and then the drive south through Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, and backup through Italy.
While not technically part of the roadtrip, this video also includes Greece (Santorini and Athens)as well as the visits to Poland and Turkey. Somewhere in there we go to Cyprus-it’s a country, ya know? Also, we’re cheating a bit here, but we threw the visit to Dubai into this episode...because why not?

    ABOUT US:
We’re traveling full time, living on our own terms and showing you the up-close-and-personal details of us figuring it out along the way. Sometimes it’s about navigating big, life-altering decisions. Sometimes it’s about navigating the seemingly lawless free-for-all that is driving in Hanoi. It’s moments of triumph and moments of panic. The good, the bad, the ugly - and most importantly, the real and real funny.
We’re not here to tell you “how it’s done.” Just how we’ve done it. And that whatever it is that’s calling you - the way you’ll do it is much more attainable than it may seem. We believe the world’s a more interesting place when people reject convention in favor of what they actually care about. This is us putting that idea to the test - one budget spreadsheet, RV renovation and mountain-peak drone video at a time.

Hope you guys keep it up because you’re honestly my favorite travel vloggers, don’t know why I haven’t come across this channel sooner. You’re both hilarious and Alison might be the first female travel vlogger who not only isn’t irritating, but is actually hilarious. Like you guys could be in the most boring place in the world and the video would still be funny and entertaining.

what fun! This video brought back so many memories of my trips to Germany, driving the crazy Auto Bahn and touring so many obscure Castles. And discovering all of my hours listening to German lessons on my breaks at work and on my commute were not extremely helpful but still added fun to the experience. Almost made me want to go back... but now hanging out here in Mexico, I realize Spanish is much easier!! :)

Planning our delayed honeymoon/1 year anniversary trip to Italy and Croatia for this September so I've been watching a TON of travel vlogs. You guys by far are my favorite . I love that you're real and include the good and the bad. I love that you day drink. And I love that you have a blast together. My husband and I got married in Key West and roughly documented our trip. We're going to try to do better in Europe. Maybe we'll attempt a vlog. We're so jealous of your never-ending travels and wish we would've done this when we were younger. We have 6 kids between the 2 of us (think Brady Bunch family) so traveling long term really isn't an option. Maybe when we retire and the kids are off to college. But at least we have a few weeks in Europe with no responsibilities and just fun time for us. Thanks for making my day at work go so much faster.

I love your videos! We started watching your videos because we were trying to plan our New Zealand trip (for two and a half months this winter) and we’ve been watching your videos ever since. You two are great together and I love what you guys are doing with the channel and the website. I also just got my Tripped compression bags in the mail so I’ll leave an amazon review soon. And I love that you guys upload the episodes as single videos and as a binge video like this one. Anyways, I’ve written a novel. I wish you guys all the best in the future and thanks for the great content!

Hi Thien Do! Glad you wrote a novel- sometimes it feels like we put videos out there into the void and don't hear much back. The NZ trip in particular feels like one of those things that we put a TON of planning into because we wanted to get the most out of it. Hope you guys have a blast.
Also, thanks for your order! If you have ANY problems with it you can always reach out directly to me at hello@trippedtravelgear.com and I'll take care of you right away.

I lived in Germany 2 years. I loved taking the train everywhere in Europe. It's cheaper than renting a bicycle and they run to most towns. You don't really need to be able to read German to take public transportation. It runs on a 24 hr clock but be careful. It does shut down at for a few hours every morning. Just know were you want to go.

I find it hard to believe you could not find somebody to speak English, because it's mandatory to learn in their schools I know I lived in Neu Ulm from 77 -83 and went to a German school as an exchange student. Altho I speak German and used it only when I had too, I mostly spoke English in every region of Germany! I'm almost 60 years old and I found in all 86 countries that I've been too pretty much everybody spoke english. And yes pretty much anywhere overseas you have to pay to use public restrooms, but you can get around that by going into a restaurant using their bathrooms and ordering a drink to go.😉 haha y'all made me laugh you're both from northern parts of United States where it's freezing seems like all year round but yet you're complaining of the cold in Salzburg.🤣 enjoy those delish Turkish Doner kebabs mmm I'm so jelly. I LOVE you guys but my heart just dropped watching this. You fainted after receiving 4 V ax shots?? That’s an adverse reaction! Please, please look further into this matter, not just what the cdc recommends. You might have continued reaction from them and not even realize where your autoimmune conditions stemmed from. I support everyone’s right to choose for themselves but I feel it’s my duty to inform those to look deeper before a bigger tragedy might occur. Sending love from Kelowna B.C. Canada. Take care!

Spoken to so many french peopl who speak english but they want you to try very hard in French first then they will help with the odd word lol

Travellers. Check can not be cashed without picture identification. Plus they can be cancelled and sent to a bank account you open up in 5 days I believe.
