You can really see how Rick Rude felt when he got that initial reaction at the start of Raw. He didn't give a standard heel reaction, but instead had what was obviously a "Come on, guys, I don't agree with what happened to Bret, either" look of disappointment to him. That said, really looking forward to next week's RtW thumbnail, because there's really no other choice than two Rick Rudes.

His matches with Diesel are some of the most underrated in-ring storytelling in the history of the industry. All because people like to pretend that Nash was all size and no talent, which is entirely untrue. He was just far too green for the title push he was given, but working with Bret brought up the ability of just about everyone he ever worked with.

It’s funny, for the longest time I’ve remembered the Sting vs Hogan program as being a great build with a lousy blow-off. But revisiting it through this series I can see how repetitive it was and how little of a story actually got told, which was a huge problem with WCW’s booking in general back then.

The biggest downfall WCW had was they had no idea how to book a wrestling show. They had all these stars on guaranteed contracts, who also had creative control. If WCW had a booking team similar to WWFs, at the time, they could have easily won the war. They had such an amazing roster of talent. However had little idea what to do with them all.

Good luck with the COVID, man. I had it after a convention a couple weeks back, and it lasted nearly 2 weeks. It was pretty mild, but it was just a constant annoyance.

On IMDB (which I personally find to be a much better representation than Rotten Tomatoes) that movie has a 7.5 rating. I haven't watched it so I dunno but that's pretty solid.

Shamrock and his promos lol. All he had to do was talk about how he's a legitimate badass and everyone else are just pretenders and go absolutely batshit crazy in the ring and he would've been a made man. Always looked for something special from him in wwf and never got it. He got hit in the face with a chair or something instead. Shamerock

Watching Bischoff be so smug about Bret coming over to WCW makes how badly they drop the ball with him sting that much more. He was handed an actual golden apple at the height of the Monday Night Wars and tossed it in the trash.

I've never understood why when Shawn came out Jim Ross said a lot of people 'think Shawn screwed Bret Hart" . That's not true either in Kayfabe where he gave up in the sharpshooter, or in real. it was Vince's decision and he wanted the heat on himself and not Shawn so that is really weird. The thing i noticed on the other channel is a year and a half into Hogan's heel run and he's wearing a big cross. How did that make sense? but yea, that night i had no idea Bret was leaving so i was completely shocked tuning in and finding out he was gone.

I was in attendance at this Raw show and other than feeling we didn't get any clarity on what happened to Bret at Survivor Series the only thing I remember was The Rock calling himself The Rock for the first time. Looking forward to reliving the Austin/Rock rivalry!!
