Awww thank you Aribella! I had a lot of fun coming up with and doing that opening. I want to have my makes come alive and with this one, I wanted to really bring out that 60s era vibe! I'm glad you enjoyed it. And as always, I am thrilled to receive your wonderful, loving comments.♥♥ Have a fantastic weekend!🥰🤗
Grace, love, love your dress. The material is beautiful. Looks great on you. Looks very comfortable too. LOVE your dance moves. You got it going girlfriend!😘
Yes Grace, you are cool and groovy you've got the '60s vibe down. I love the '60s dress. Congratulations to the winners Grace, you are so generous I love you, girl.
Wonderful dress Grace! I was interested in this pattern from its cover and it was nice to see it made up! Thanks for showing how you lowered the dart and sharing the suggestion to add interfacing to the collar. Congrats to the winners and what lovely gifts you put together 🙂 You will reach 2,000 viewers before you know it!
Yes Michelle, that tip of adding interfacing to the collar made all the difference. It's a wonderful pattern! Thanks for always commenting and supporting my channel. I truly appreciate it! Hope you have a wonderful week! 🥰
Hi Grace, I love the dress! I think it would look good with black patent shoes with low heels like they wore in the sixties. I enjoy your videos and find your enthusiasm so inspiring! I am watching you from the UK so you have an international audience! Look forward to your sew alongs next year. Happy Christmas. Catherine
Hi Catherine! It's so nice to know where people are from. Welcome!! All the way from the UK. I'm so glad you found my channel. Yes, low patent leather heels would look great with that dress! Thank you. 😃 I'm planning my sew along calendar for 2024 so tune in! Merry Christmas!! 🎅🤶🎄
Hi Grace, I loved your opening! You nailed it. That dress is darling on you! It's a perfect pairing of the pattern and fabric. And, the fit is perfect as always. I'm again inspired. Congratulations on a year on UA-cam.
Yes, you can move the fold on the neckline as high or low as you want. Then once you interface it and fold it down will give it more support to stand up. As always, thanks for your support! 🥰♥
Lolol. Grace, you look like an eighty's chick! So so cool. Happy Anniversary! I love that mug too. I'm watching You To The End! My grandbabe's not feeling well and she stopped crying when she saw you dancing! I love that dress. Congratulations to the winners!
Omg, I literally laughed out loud, the opening was AWESOME 😎 😎😎!!!!! I had to rewind and watch it again. Congratulations to the winners 👏👏👏. You will be @2k pretty soon, don’t you worry 😊😊😊. The dress is so pretty, the fabric is just perfect for it, and I love it with the white sneakers, WOW. Thank you for a great video!!!💕💕💕
Karen, I'm so glad you enjoyed it and I put a smile on your face. I want to have fun and share that fun here on my channel. Thanks always for your wonderful comments and support! 🥰🥰😘😘💖💖💖💖

Loved your sixties dance moves and glasses! That dress came out so pretty on you! Thats a pattern I want to try now! Wonderful gifts for your viewers and how generous of you to do the giveaway! Keep on truckin to 2k!!!!
Love the dress and the material you chose to make it with. This was a fun video, you are so cool😎….Lol. Congratulations again on your 1 year UA-cam channel. Can’t wait to see what 2024 brings.
Grace, it was so much fun in you announcing the winners, congratulations to them and thank you for your inspiring content , looking forward to 2024. Happy holidays. ❤
The intro was so groovy! 😎 The gifts you put together have such thoughtful notions and I know the winners must be overjoyed! I haven’t made any vintage patterns, but this one has really caught my eye! The shoulder darts are an interesting feature. I don’t think I’ve seen those on anything else before. I usually have to move darts down about an inch and I do it the exact same way that you showed. Is it the “right” way? 🤷🏻♀️ Who knows, but it works. Congratulations again on one year!! You’ve added so much to this community.
Hey Erin, this was so GROOVY and COOL to do!! 😎 LOL! 🤣🤣 Yes shoulder darts are a new one for me and even the raised collar. Moving those darts was a must do! Is there are "right way"? I don't know. But there is a "my way" that works for me.😃 You need to try this pattern. It is easy and fun! Have a great weekend! Thanks so much! 🥰🥰🥰
Congratulations to your drawing winners!!! The neckline on the dress you made looked really nice. Sounds like you're going to have another interesting year on YT. I'll be watching! Take care now!!
Thanks Deb! I'm looking forward to it. The neckline is great with that interfacing. It made all the difference. I'm surprised the pattern didn't indicate for it. Well, I can't wait to see you again at the EXPO! ❤ Have a wonderful weekend! 🥰🥰
Hotel booking at the Hyatt connected to the RP Funding Center opened yesterday. $209 a night. I booked mine for Thursday night. I might check out a couple of classes but not as many as I did last year.
Staying so close to the EXPO would be nice but I always just drive back & forth since it's only about a 45 minute drive for me. At the end of the day, I'm pretty tired but I'm needed at home. That's why I shop like crazy while I'm there!
Love, love, love your intro and updo!!! Too cute!! Your dress came out lovely!! Love your modern look. Great styling!! I wore mine to work in modern fashion and every one loved it!!
Thanks so much for the collar tip! It worked out so well. I was so excited that I had to do a happy dance for my intro!🤣🤣 I'm sure you were incredible looking in your dress! It's a real head-turner! 🥰♥♥♥♥
Very cute dress and I loved your intro! So fun and perfect to the vibe of the dress! Sounds like there's some great things coming on your channel! Definitely looking forward to seeing them!
I loved the intro SO MUCH!!! Your dress is gorgeous. I would love a sew a long with your beautiful bags that you often make. Otherwise, any sew a long :) But I am dying to make some bags.
Thanks Sirena! That intro was a blast to make! 🤩 I'm really having fun trying to capture that 60s groovy vibe! On my channel I've made bags using my sewing machine and also in the hoop on my embroidery machine. I do both. Was there any bag that you've seen in any of my videos that you are interested in making? Please let me know. Have a FABULOUS weekend! 🥰🥰🥰
Hi Grace, I have been working thru all of your vids from the beginning. I have to tell you that not only are you a natural but you have definitely come into your own. This vid today was spectacular just like you. You're a star! I love your stories, lifestyle, impeccable style and your funny and engaging persona. I am learning a whole lot also. I learned to sew at my mother's knees as a little girl and bought a machine several years ago but have been tailoring, mending etc. I wanted to branch out and started watching all the sewing youtube vids. Then you came up as a suggestion, maybe cause I am also in Florida?! I subscribed but it was on my tv so I came here to the laptop and saw that my subscription on the tv doesn't count here (for anyone whose done the same maybe you can let them know). Anyways, thank you for your channel you will have many subscribers for sure! Keep up the good work! You are so appreciated by all!
