I've watched this review a few times and I'm glad I did. I was in the market for my first hinge and decided to go with the Ghost. It's been a fun experience learning to shoot with it. Keep up the great videos.
I enjoy your videos a great deal. What sidetracks me is at your house you don't have awnings or cover as you come outside. Drives me nuts. Just keep doing what you do and I'll get over it. Thanks for all your great input and information...
When I first shot a hinge this year I flinched everytime I heard the click. After shooting maybe an hour I love the click because of shooting from different angles in deer stands and blinds. You would be surprised how shooting at angles can change how far you've already turned your release. Hope this helps anyone looking.
I've been shooting for less than a year and already own 2 compounds, 2 recurves, 3 release aids, 2 gloves, 4 tabs, 4 quivers, 7 stabilizers, *many* rests and more than 150 arrows... Do I have a problem (yet)!?
The B3 hinges use a rubber band under the hook to reset it. So at some point it's going to break and need replacing. They're standard orthodontic bands (1/8") so they're not hard to acquire, but a bit tricky to install.
I have a B3 Hinge release had for a number of years now. 3 maybe 4 years? And you can either shoot it with a click or you can flip the moon over and have no click.
That’s bizarre, i just got this release not a month ago and i’ve been playing with the settings, i’ve just noticed now that my moon has milling on both sides that make it click, i’ve switched it on both sides and the only difference is one click takes long to release while the other is short, but I don’t have a side of the moon that does not click.
are these suitable for hunting? i do not like the normal trigger style release that everybody seems to use so i end up using fingers and do well. but ive just learned about these kinds of releases and would like to try them.
My ATF riser came with a white grip and after a month or so it looked filthy. I tried to clean it but it just never looked really white again. Guess I need to wash up more often.
You'd think recurve archers would collect tabs like compounder's do with release aids but that's not the case for some reason. I know a compounder and she's got nearly 20 release aids and a lot are high end expensive ones like the Truball GOAT which she has 2 of. Must be always chasing the illusive perfect one for her I suppose. I've got 2 tabs, the cheap cartel one I started with and a Fairweather Modulus which I really like.
You guys in Australia must get things a lot later then everyone else, the Ghost release has been out for a while now, the new one is the B.G Ghost, they have the new pelican Sears and it’s shaped a bit different !!
The Coop/Ghost are basically a refined Longhorn. One thing B3 did with their hinges with moons is they machined detents into one side that the locking screw sits in when you tighten it doen. So there are a series of defined positions to set the speed of the moon. B3 calls that micro-adjustable, which is kind of a misrepresentation and not exactly how the rest of the industry uses the term (where micro-adjust means turning a screw to make minute adjustments). All that said, if you find the handle comfortable for your shooting style, then you'll probably not be disappointed.
Great tip from J Dudley, -when taking your release apart do it in a big plastic bag, no more looking for lost springs and small screws.

That Ghost release is great. I just purchased it today and I've shot 100 arrows with it. I love it.

On the contrary. You're dangerously understocked 😁.
I have been shooting bows for 45 yrs, you can never have enough Archery Equipment. Lol There isn't enough space for me to list all
my equipment!!!!
It's a requirement for Compound Bow shooters to always have a full set of tools handy :-)
I’m new to archery but you said the magic word no little spring to loss easy to work on sold 👍
Geta thumb release. Good for wind
@@dodgyass11 I’m watching reviews on them to any excuse for a gadget 👍

Doesn't matter how well you shoot, it's how good you look shooting.
That white though. It feels so good in my hand

Ghost, Coop or Mini BT. Which one would you think is the most comfortable to hold? i feel like the mini BT would fit your fingers just about right.

Do you have any experience with the B3 Ranger?
How long is the neck compared to Scott Accent? About the same or longer \ shorter?
