True, I grabbed my trash bag last night, walked around and didn’t see a trash can. I saw all the trash everywhere, could’ve added to it. But I didn’t , I took my trash back to my truck and waited until I found one.
I have to say Schmidt, you hit the nail on the head when describing the people who only care about themselves and are too lazy to dump their trash in one of those thingys...I think they call them a trash can or heck even a dumpster. That is the one thing that irritates me the most about some people. No respect for the property they are trashing and no respect for the people that end up cleaning up after their lazy beepedy beep beeps. Great video and good for you for speaking up. As a guy who has worked at two trucking "centers," it's no fun cleaning that mess up, because the manager/s never buy the equipment to pick it up with. One time I foolishly asked why don't we place dumpsters every 100 feet on the edges of the lot and one said, "Because they just throw the trash AT the dumpster, not in it!" Couldn't help but laugh, because it sounded exactly like he had tried it long ago. 💕🤪
"You are worthless and I cannot wait until your gene pool gets completely wiped off of this planet." has to be one of the best things I've heard all year. Was it brutal? Yes. Did it need to be said? Absolutely. Sadly it applies to more people than just truck drivers.
The only thing I can think of is no it's not brutal it's honestly the truth

@@kensmechanicalaffair just lazy, I'm on the road as well and at times I've used piss jugs, but I do take responsibility for myself and clean up my area, when i parked my truck last night for the weekend at a flying j, went around to the passengers side and there as cigarette butts and eggshells on the ground, just no need for that

Ì watched a certain driver throw all his trash out into parking lot, then walk by 10 trash cans at the fuel island to go an shower. Needless to say I picked up all his trash. The piled it all on the hood of his truck and his steps then sat back and watched his reaction when he came back to his truck. PRICELESS!

Never apologize Kurt for calling out trash truck drivers. We definitely need more truck drivers who care how they drive and how they treat others properties, ie: truck stops.
Kurt you have nothing to be sorry for. My dad felt the same way about truckers who through trash all over the truck stops as well. He drove OTR for all of my childhood.
My wife came up with a slogan and we made bumper stickers, "People who litter are trash".
My wife and I loved your ‘rant’. You are right on with the littering and lack of values so many people have and it’s not just truckers. But certainly truckers can and should do better. Yea sometimes, they just don’t change the trash bags. It gets pretty bad. Days go by and they don’t change the cans. It’s a group effort

100% correct, as Cheesehead Media and all the others also point out. They should have massive fines and if it can be proven by video, the person taking the video gets half! That'll end a lot of litter that is tossed onto the land.

When I lived at home, you could walk out and look up and see the stars, moon 🌙 is bright and it’s not a sound and crystal clear… love it, miss it.. it’s quite too where I live, but there are street lights a way down… thank you for sharing, and guess what… I was at the live stream for the duration and it was great 👍👋😊😁🦮🐕🦺

I agree with ya on the trashy truckers.. one difference when. I was driving I would actually go make them pick up their mess.. of course I had a few try to challenge me.. which never ended well...for them.. keep the shiny side up buddy
I was in New York at a TA and the trucker parked next to me had a bag of human poo hanging from his passenger window. The inside of his truck looked like a dumpster. The garbage can and the store were not very far of a walk. I cannot for the life of me imagine how these people can live like that? It's just disgusting. Very sad and pathetic. I realize a lot of truckers battle with depression and they probably just don't care about life much anymore so they develop these awful disgusting habits, but we can do better than that. Nasty.

Your rant is legitimate. I was in sales and did 50,000 miles for 20 winters in the upper midwest. I enjoy winter. I did not like bad road conditions but back then, 20 years ago I believe people respected each other, property and the environment. Now we farm small scale and travel many miles to our distant adult children, we find many rude, arrogant and obnoxious people in travel centers, rest areas and on the highway. I always look for independent trucks, specialized loads. We enjoy your videos. We have a 10 year GS too!

Especially that trash flys onto neighboring properties with the winds. Totally fxcked up for the neighbors close by as well!
When we had our Renegade motorhome on the Freightliner Columbia chassis with the 12.8L Mercedes diesel the engine computer read the pyrometer temp and limited the fuel to the motor once it got to 900*. That was done to keep the pistons from melting.

Greetings Kurt I'm an old gear jammer . The heaters in the trucks of my day were lousy . I thought right now the new trucks would have good heaters in them .
Mine does! 2021 t680..unless its below zero OR im driving, my heater is on low and midway in the temps. Holy crap, that thing can broil chicken and all the fixins!
People like that are only alive because it's easy to live these days. I think the reason why people like that have never really been a problem until recent times, and why there seems to be more of them than of us now

Good thing you are not trucking in southern Saskatchewan this morning. Temp was -35 c windchill was -51c. At those temps both C and F are the same.

Good rant. All true. It seems the majority of drivers out here come from places where they didn't know what trash service was, what running water was , what a toilet was,etc, etc. I see them washing their feet in the sinks, then blow their nose in their hand over the sink, then out the door. Oh, this after they use the toilet stall as their own phone booth, never caring about the next guy. Slobs. When you come here looking to better yourself that's great, but leave the filth that you're running from behind.
