TF recently said that Papa Nihil was embalmed and being kept around like the other Papas were. Something tells me that we may be getting all of the undead Papas throwing down for the right to hold the title. I am also picturing an attempt on Papa IV’s life by the Nameless Ghouls thwarted by Sister, outing him as Papa Nihil’s and her own son and a proper heir to the title. My favorite wild mass guess is that the Papas will return to contest IV at the end of the next tour only for him to absorb the others via a ritual performed by Sister.

To add to the theory. Papas 1 and 2 are barely in Chapter 3, but Papa 3 is in a majority of it (at least old Papa wise). Also, Papa Nihil kept saying Copia wasn’t ready to be Papa. Papa 4 (Copia) and Sister Imperator are becoming very high and mighty now and probably will become more, showing Nihil was right, he wasn’t mature enough for the role.
I don't know if any of this holds weight BUT I love the idea of undead Papa(s). It's a really awesome idea and imagine getting back more or less the old albums' music styles but NEW songs

Cardinal for me was ehhhh and they’re going back to old roots, as you can see by the robes. And there could be a rebirth? Hopefully

I know it might be a but of a stretch but the lines talking about reuniting with old friends kina gives me the vibes of him at least thinking about III and possibly wanting someone with more experience or maybe some help with being Papa (or maybe he just wants a friend idk man, I know if I was one anxious rat boy I would need at least one stable source of questionable moral support). Maybe something will come out of this era about it, we never know.

I think that Sister imperator wanted to create a new era where she would pull the strings (since she did all the work anyway) and had Coia recruited to help. But Copia is slowly taking more and more power away from Sister Imperator which means Papa 3 can return and declare Copia an Anti pope and there will be some kind of split. two bands performing and touring at the same time maybe

I came to re-watch this while waiting for the "Jesus is coming" premiere. Lot of people think Copia ain't gonna make it, I don't want that but if it happens here's hoping for Franken-Papa to replace him.
While I DO appreciate the work that has been done since Copia has been the front man, I HOPE this theory is true. Papa III is still the best Papa in my personal opinion. To see a fight between Copia and III would be interesting, and it would give a nice twist to the lore of the Group. I will be 100% honest, I am not the biggest fan of the new costumes and the new music. I do appreciate the music for what it is; well executed. 'Hunters Moon' and 'Call Me Little Sunshine' just don't feel like Ghost to me. When my friend and I saw the changes to the costumes when the tour started (and after hearing 'Call Me Little Sunshine') we theorized the other Papa's coming back to confront Copia. Again, I'm not saying that the lighter music and new costumes are bad by any means, it's just so different compared to the former. Given that all other Papas and their albums/songs had a heavier feel and the style changed very minimally throughout the costumes, bringing them back with a distaste for the current style would be interesting. Not to mention seeing how Tobias has a flair when making creative decisions. Rant over, sorry lol
