Floating Shelves with Industrial Style Metal Brackets

How to build floating wood shelves out of rustic barn wood and do it yourself shelf brackets. These are 2x6 floating shelves and using 1/4 thick metal strap to build the brackets. The brackets were welded and clear coated to prevent any additional rust from forming once they are installed in the bathroom. A great DIY project for the weekend. A rustic farmhouse / industrial mix of flavors.
