Watching the footage of Steve and Terri at the end once again reminds me of Steve's insatiable zest and joy for life and all living creatures. It both brings my heart joy to see him in his prime doing what he did best and great sorrow to know that he was taken from this world that so greatly needed (and continues to need) him all too young. I can't even begin to fathom the unimaginable, inconsolable heartbreak and earth-shattering loss and subsequent grief that Steve's tragic death must have left Terri and his two young children. Terri has been so much stronger and braver than I could ever possibly be if faced with such overwhelming darkness. The entire family truly honors Steve's memory and all that he- and now his kids- represent. God bless and be with them all.
After watching many movies and documentaries, I've been so enthralled by nature and wildlife. Nowadays, I try to make a change in our world to save all wildlife and natural environments.
It's so great to see Steve's still apart of every thing that they do i'm still making sure that Steve's message about consvation still gets out there and his legacey still lives on Awww poor herney

My mom and I had a 3 way stare-off between a possum, Nick the feral cat, and a racoon. The possum was eating Nick's food and was hissing at Nick and the racoon. It was kind of funny that the racoon and Nick were both baffled and didn't make any moves to reclaim the food.
I just wanted to say I love the work y’all do. I live in America and hope to one day visit the zoo. Thanks for caring for all the animals and giving them a second chance at life.
I’m in my early 50’s. Traveled a bit to Europe when I was younger. If I could go anywhere (after lockdown 😷 and the fact that I’m like ugh I’ll stay home) it would be Australia Zoo. It’s highly unlikely but it’s fun to dream about and makes my heart 😊 ✌️💕

As for Steve Irwin, I adored his documentaries for many years and it was a very sad day when he passed. If I could have shaken his hand one day at his amazing Zoo, I would have been a happy woman. His familiy is beautiful, sadly missing but out on this larger than life person he no doubt was. A credit to human kind and great advocate for all animal life.

Goodness this world is missing a warrior! Bindi has so many good memories with her dad! I will NEVER FORGET when she spoke at her Dad's funeral. There was not one dry eye in the stadium.... except hers. She read what she wrote and with such pluck and courage she told us all what a wonderful man her Daddy was! I love seeing Bindi growing up to be such a fierce wildlife warrior she and Robert have become!
Possums have a special place in my heart, growing up my dad was amazing with me and my bro, but he left when I was 8 and became a very different person and doesn’t have much to do with me these days, but when I was little his special nickname for me was Possum and my little brother was Wombat. I’m 25 weeks pregnant with a little boy right now and am buying the wildlife warrior onesie with the wombat on it as I’m planing on giving my son the nickname wombat too, it especially fits as he is in part named after his uncle haha, plus I love where the money from the purchase goes.

Way to many my favorites are the chipmunks and squirrels would run up to me when I have peanuts. They are so gentle when they take it out of my hand. There was also a herd of white tailed deer 15-20 of them I could walk in and around them. They would sleep in the backyard. My least fav was living with 10-12 foot Burmese python but the things you do for love lol. I named it Damien and go figure he liked me or my vanilla body spray. He would start at one end and would follow me to the other end of his aquarium but when he out grew that his owner made a bigger house for him. Came home from work and my cat is walking across the top of his enclosure. Bye bye Damien I wasn’t gonna wait and chance him eating my cat
You know i do love all animals but its difficult to love those hissing crazy little guys. I was a nuisance animal trapper in oregon and i was required to kill them when i caught them. I was crying when i shot my 1st one in the country side. It was heartbreaking even though i dont have a heart connection with them. Lol i begged fish and wildlife to let me release them in the forest but no, they said they would revoke my animal trapping licenses. Love you guys. BTW miss Bindi, you did it, your lovely Grace is here, she is tiny but not the size of a bean. I hope you get to read this, hugs and congratulations on your new girl
