One of the best videos I’ve seen on this kit!!! 👏🏻😉
Excellent playing, Great footwork and dynamics! Rock on dudes!
I like your videos specifically for the assembly and setup: How to place the rack toms, images to show the orientation of the stands etc. As I advance to different kits, I notice these videos are reliably more useful than my written setup instructions. Much appreciated!
I remember the excitement of unboxing it, when i got mine last year. :)
so many boxes! haha and such a huge kick drum!
I can only dream of owning one of these kits. Thanks for the great video.
Or you can just get it from sweetwater and pay $150 a month for 4 years….not that hard.
One of these kids will be so God at my place .... 😁 Looking forward to getting one.
The tom rims really blew me away. That's some next level engineering. However, I felt like the cymbal samples could use some work. Perhaps there is some settings or parameters to mess around with, but right out the box that was my first thought. Looks like a solid kit. Thank you for sharing.
Getting this kit for our studio....no more phasing issues ....
Sounds very tasty especially the toms. Shame it's so darn expensive. E drums continue to evolve in the right direction.
Um sonhoooooo. linda demais
vou comprar um....até 2022!!!
I have one and the kick drum trigger was difficult to get right, you really need to play with the settings. And, the mountainous pile of cardboard was a pain. Look into Vexpressions drum sounds for these modules. Killer stuff! 🥁
I had one for one year and yes the drums are great looking, however my experience is the snare and cymbals still sound….well electronic. My expectations were it looks like an acoustic….the outcome paradoxically ‘it’s not an acoustic kit’. The visuals and the reality are North vs South so to speak.
If you have access to an acoustic kit, be happy, if you need to practice in an apartment etc without driving the neighbours insane then use an electronic. The later reason is by far the main decision for buying any electronic kit, I’ve had a few. The hope of buying an electronic kit that sounds like an acoustic, forget it, they just don’t deliver….no hope , they come close but the electronic just doesn’t ‘live’ it’s like hitting an acoustic kit where it was tuned flat, then gaff tape placed all over it, and then your trying to use tech unit to bring it to life….it’s just dead, rigamorticed! Sorry to disappoint but that’s my experience. In fact I would recommend putting money into sound proofing your bathroom and put your acoustic kit in there and you’ll have a better playing, listening experience.
Hey guys loving the channel! Just a quick question please. What size was the drum mat were you using?
Hi Aaron, thanks for the comment and sorry for the delay! This is probably no longer useful to you but the dimensions are 1.7m wide by 1.5m deep. Thanks.
If you open the high hat just a little bit and full open, is there a difference?
From Ssssss to not so much sss?
Or is just closed "Tz" und oben "sss"?😅
beautiful, can you tell me which camera you use for shooting from above and what is the name of the shaft that supports it? thank you
Being that expensive and still doesn't come with pedal hi hat stand and snare stand is crazy 😅🤑
I know right?! The quality of the sounds are astounding though, you can customise every single part of every drum and cymbal from EQ all the way to compression and reverb. Have you made the plunge to get one or window shopping?
@@RhythmRoomMusicSchool i bet it's good 😎 Hell no I can't afford, They even up the price now here in Sweden.. I would love to own these drums, Maybe one day 🙏
Is it possible to get the bell working on the 2nd (CY16) crash ?
Nice! What is the size of your mat?
How much space do you need for this kit? I would love 2 know, in centimeter please
Does the module (27) for this 506 come with a snake cable ou individual ones? Tks!
Nice drums, but why Roland decided to leave the hi hat, and snear stand and Bass peddle?
Kit looks great with no drum rack. Racks are all well and good in certain setups, I don’t feel this is one of them. I’ve seen 506 setups using 2nd rack tom mounted as first floor tom, for 1 up 2down configuration . I Would like to see a double 14” floor tom kit option from Roland, I won’t hold my breath. Roland’s solution would be buy 2 506 complete kits from us and make whatever setup your heart desires.....
Sweetwater has a deal right now where if you buy the Vad 503 you get a free 14 floor Tom with it
@@mitchmcturtle6890 just saw that recently, if only I had the money to buy right now I would.
Racks take too much space and if you have a huge floor tom it sags bad. A nice DW tom mount is much better for me.
Online companies sometimes bundle a second floor tom but you will pay the standard "sale" price plus a couple hundred at minimum. The 14" by itself is $599 by itself so it can save a couple hundred if you want the extra tom. I opted to get a better deal on the standard kit and wait a year or two and add more drums when the prices go down or hit the used market.
@@huhwah5387 Agree 100%.
What kind of drum amps are used on this video? Sounds amazing
Hi Jiro, we recorded the audio straight from the kit into an interface and into the laptop, there were no amps involved, the sound you're hearing is the raw sound from the default kit. We were very impressed!
There is posible can customize for lefty??
Thanks for the comment, yes, the kit can be set up in a left handed configuration.
They should add a camera to the snare drum rim so it can detect how far up or down the drumstick you're doing the rimshot, so it can adjust the sound accordingly.
Haha jk, that would add $3K to the price.
hi what is the lenght and width of your mat in cm? thanks
Thanks for the comment, the rug is 1.7m wide by 1.5m deep
Sooo... can you turn these drums into quality acoustic ones?
Seems like it if you know how to remove all the stuff inside without hurting the shell. But in my opinion, if you’re gonna spend like $5,000 or $6,000 on an electronic kit to make it acoustic, just get a nice acoustic kit for that money.
Be sure not to use a felt beater on the drum pad.
I bought the TD-27 module for $650 off Marketplace and paired it with my like brand new SPL Kicker five piece kit I bought for $80, bought a bunch of piezos off Amazon for like $7.00 for the lot. Spent another $15 on female panel jacks, 2-ply China mesh heads at around $12.00 a piece. I already had a Roland rack, several Roland Cymbal pads, etc. I have about $1,000 or so invested. I don't have the digital snare or ride, but the way I look at it I saved around $4,000 and still essentially have a a Roland VAD 506. I would never spend $5K on any E-kit. That's insane if you ask me.
It's a luxury item. It's great you have a set constructed but you didn't save $4000.00 because what you have does not compare.
I thought the one who plays the drums is the president of Ukraine
No way it’s worth the money, total disgrace the price of Edrums.
