Hey Esme! You probably won't see this, but I look up to you so much and i want to thank you for all of your inspirational words in every video! Keep up the great work ❤
Hello Esme! Great job for your first lesson for both equitation and hunter you did amazing! Thank you so much for showing us around WEC! Thank you for also teaching us so much and bringing us along on your journey! I enjoy watching your videos so much! Please continue the great work! ❤️🐴
You're such a beautiful rider Esme, the fact that you are so open to learning anything and pick up on it so quickly is incredible. You should be very proud of yourself! Love watching your videos, thank you for sharing with us all 😄
Yayyy, love that you came to America! You should go to the Devon horse show and country fair, it’s the oldest and largest multi breed competition in the US. It definitely can’t be compared to the Showgrounds in Florida but it’s still a classic! I only mention it incase you ever come back, it would be really cool to have you over!
you’re so lucky to go to WEC Ocala. i want to go so bad. i’ve been to Wellington, Ohio WEC, but not Ocala, Florida. i hope that someday this can be a reality for me, but right now it’s not. i’ve been riding for five or six years now and i want to go to WEC Ocala some time in my riding career. this is literally my dream to someday go to ocala. but for now we stick to wellington WEC in ohio. also for riding hunters for the fisrt time, you did great! i have been doing hunters my whole riding life. hunters is very complicated and very technical. but you did great! i don’t think you’ll see this esme, but you’ve inspired me and you’re a great equestrian youtuber. you are so great at riding and you are so nice and caring for all your animals. i’m so glad you are part of the equestrian and youtubing community. i love watching you!
You did great in your lessons. I feel like the Hunters lesson would be extra difficult. It is very different than normal jumping. Excellent video, thank you! ❤
I live in Florida about two hours from wec, and frequently show there. It is so cool to think that you were there! You have been such a huge inspiration to me. I got knee surgery last Tuesday, and will not ride for about a year. My confidence has been way down, but you are getting me through it. Thank you Esme❤️
you absolutely inspire me so much. your ability and willingness to try new things is such a motivation to me. I lost confidence due to old horses I leased and you’ve definitely helped inspire me to try new things. thanks for making your content and being so motivating!
WOW. That place is Massive! So fun that you were able to see and ride the uniquely American Equitation and Hunters. It really is a whole different equestrian world! It is not easy to get on new, fit horses and ride such a different way, but you succeeded!! Congratulations!!
Your a natural at hunter! Love how your so willing to try it all and share that with us. Hunter is actually how I started riding english, then equitation then I fell in love with dressage and cross country. Florida was my home, except up in the panhandle! Hope you enjoyed your time there.
Hi Esme! I love your videos and back when I first got my pony he was really sacred and afraid like Casper and you inspired me to push through and create the wonderful pony I have today.
Being Swedish, I didnt really get what you were supposed to do BUT I loved to see that no horse was ever behind the vertical or pushed into a tight frame. I watched the riders in the background as well and they all looked lovely on happy horses! ❤
This is a great intro to equitation and hunters! I grew up doing both and never had it explained that well to me in all of the years I did it. You had some good instruction! Florida looks amazing. I have never made it down south to show yet but it's on my bucket list for sure.
So happy you had a great time at wec. It really is a place away from home(at least for me). Again I wanted to thank you Esme for coming to wec and getting a chance to meet, it really has made my year!😊
That was amazing!! You did so well with your first hunters and equitation lessons. Non- horsey ppl think it’s easy but it is so not, having to remember/understand everything that your trainer is asking you to do during the lesson sometimes can be brain boggling. Super enjoyed this video, that place is a must visit. 🥰
You done so well riding on those amazing horses, They're so cute. Your so lucky Esme - I hope your enjoying in the USA it's good to be out of the UK as I live on the UK and it's rain rain rain! Hope your having an amazing night Xxx
Thank you for making your videos and this one especially. I live in the US and have not had an opportunity yet to go to Ocala, FL, so it was great to see some of it in your video. You are such a great person and it’s so wonderful to see your channel growing and growing!!! 😃
You did so well! I get it going from hunter to showjumping I went the opposite direction but it’s always hard to switch it up! Hope you had so much fun!
Yay, I so happy you tried equitation. I'm doing equitation and showjumping shows this year and I can definitely say that equitation judges are super strict and they look at absolutely everything
Welcome to the US, Esme! If you ever do a round two, you should check out the World Equestrian Center in Ohio. It’s not AS big and fancy, but still a lovely and impressive facility. And of course you need to go see the Kentucky Horse Park! There’s soooo much to see and do there. 🖤
I absolutely love this! I used to ride eventing but now I do hunters and equitation! Please let me know if you see this Esme! I absolutely hope to be like you some day and wish to meet riders as amazing as you!❤❤❤
This was a great video! I showed equitation and hunters for years So this was a super fun video to watch and relive some of that The horses were gorgeous-just love them!
Grew up with horses in the U.K. and now I live in Oregon. Going to a H/J barn felt like I’d never ridden before, it was SO different and it took me a while to get used to the light seat/2 point. Now when I go home to Suffolk and have lessons there, the instructors are baffled by my riding style. 😂
Coming from an eq/hunter rider these r very hard!! If you watch JHF (Junior Hunter Finals) or the Maclay Finals (eq) you’ll see!! It’s so fun but very hard, technical, and specific!!
Hey Esme! Just wanted to say I ride in the hunters and equitation, and I LOVE how you're hopefully bringing some of the hunter and eq stuff back to the UK! Also just wanted to say Happy didn't have a double bridle, that was a pelham! Pelhams are very common in the hunters and eq for stronger horses :) I'd also LOVE if you did a video where you showed in the hunters and eq eventually! Another thing, it would be very cool to see you visit Tryon International Equestrian Center! It's in North Carolina!
First of all, what a place, I haven't seen that kind of yards eveerr. Also seen the difference of the riding types there, I will feel stupid haha, loved it
Hi Esme!!! I long your videos so much!! I will see you on the us for the first time even though I have watched you since 2019!! Hope you enjoyed the hunters and equitation!! I do that on my buckskin pony named Conner, or Over the Moon and have done it for 4 years now and it is my favorite thing in the world!! I know you probably will not see this but I hope you do!
Thank you for doing this. I was literally abused by every trainer I ever tried to work with in Ocala so I wasn’t able to do anything but drive around the Equestrian Center once. I wish I would have got to ride in the arena.
You are amazing at this. You're always so willing to learn new things even though you know how to ride. I bet it felt weird to ride the new horses than when riding Casper and Joey x
i’ve been waiting for this!!!! ever since i started watching you as a USA viewer, i was always so curious to see your thoughts on the USA’s hunters and eq. going to love this video i know it!!!
i feel like if you’re a hunter jumper you either have a gray, bay, or dark bay horse 😭 (i’m a hunter jumper LMAO) but happy reminds me a lot of one of our mates, snuggs! both are gray (snuggs is a flea bitten) and both have darker manes.
I ride equitation/hunters, and it is very difficult. I've been riding for 10 years, and im still jumping crossrails and small verticals because my lower leg doesnt stay behind/line up with girth(my feet tend to go in front of the girth) and some other small details aren't there quite yet. Mind: I've had a lot of setbacks over the past 10 years, but i'm fine with getting my body in the right position in the saddle before jumping bigger and ready for equitation flat classes. Great video, Esme! 🩷🩷
im friends with one of brooke’s daughters on tiktok and she posted a pic of you guys together and ever since i’ve been waiting for this vid! i love it so far
WOW, that place is huge! 🤩⭐️ I would love to compete there someday! I learned a lot from you riding hunter and equation! It’s SO annoying when people say you just sit there, and this proves that that’s not true! I can’t wait to see more USA 🇺🇸 vids! ❤️
It’s so interesting that you’ve never known eq and hunters. It’s a big basics for all our competitors in the US. Almost everyone starts out in hunters then transitions to eq and then jumpers as they approach the end of there junior years!
Hey esme! Ik I comment this a lot but you are such an inspiration to all beginner equestrians such as myself! Keep on trying new things, and never give up! ❤
Hey esme ur littraly my idol I look up to u so much your a great rider and you have inspired me to ride my first lesson is in a week or two I hope you see this keep up your good work

As a hunter of 17 years….BEAUTIFUL coaching and riding. that coach is WONDERFUL! ❤
I love how Esme takes advice so pleasantly and is willing to learn ❤

@@ThisEsMe Omg of course, thank you for being such an inspiration for me and the equestrian community☺️🙌🏼
Suggestion for the stable renovations, building a dog house for Ruby or making a place for her in the tack room to lay in during the summer!

I am so so sorry . I hope thangs get better for you . God bless !❤❤❤

I’m a hunter and u have a fat buckskin welsh pony he went to pony finals you can look him him up rolling woods eye spy

I love having the options of the 3 rings in America and love how it prepares riders to truly learn how to ride correctly and not just fling themselves over the jumps
Are you making out that uk riders and other people “fling themselves over the jumps”?
@@GigiTimmins I think what they are trying to say is that in the UK, the rider style isn;t judged as much as in the USA
I ride hunter jumpers/eq and this video was sm fun to watch! You should totally make more videos trying hunters :)
Since the campus is so massive, I’m surprised nobody has just ridden the horse from one arena to the other 😊
We do! Indoor arenas 1-4 are all mostly connected by walkways between all the barns. The outside rings are all a short hack from the backside of the stabling.
