Thank you for taking that time to properly rehab her! All that extra work will definitely pay off in the future and prevent injury! You see so many people including professionals rush things and it only backfires.
This is a great exercise. Those ‘square’ turns are really good training. Jam looks bright and ready for fun. Winnie is maturing so well and her stretchy trot at the end was super. Great to watch you again.
Jammy looks happy to be back in work, good idea to give her lots of footwork puzzles, gets her mind busy so she isn't too eager. Slow and steady building her up now. Winnie looking good as well!
I love the differences and similarities between Jam and Winnie. I wonder how different Brego will be or Ettie if she gets backed. I love this exercise! I also think having a smaller ring is normally a bit of a disadvantage but it certainly helps make your horses handy! Also - I love the leg before hand really makes a difference!
This looks like a really good exercise for the horses. Really seems to be making them think about what they're doing! Especially good for Winnie, I think, since Jammie's so much more experienced, anyway. Lovely to see Jammie again, clip or no clip. She's looking nice and sound, and looks like the extended rest did her good. A terrific video, overall!
Ah such a treat to see Jam Bam back up and running. I was holding my breath for a bit too long for her! Great to see Jam's daughter foal doing well also. (: You do a good work in their routine exercises as i can clearly see it in their jumping form with their front end nicely up and tucked in where mine would be as lazy as possible grazing as closely possible to the jumping pole no matter how low it was set lol.
So good to see Jammy back in action. And sweet Winnie, she is just practicing those odd distances and how to cope with slightly improvised foot work. And Winnie is totally taller than Jammy!
Feeling a bit rubbish after a pretty nasty fall yesterday since I’m struggling to walk and had to send dad to feed the horse, but this is enough to cheer me up again and will deffo try this when I’m up to riding again
Watching laineyea video of the exercise, she came in trot or just a small amount of canter for her less experienced horses, which is something to consider as Winnie and maybe Wilma build up their confidence and strength in a more contained canter. But, Winnie is so clever and good at working these things out, and Jam is just perfectly beautiful Jam ❤
The silver lining of having a short arena is that your horses have to learn to adjust quickly and to be really clever with their feet. Useful skills on cross-country combinations in the future. Lovely exercise.
Rode one of my favourite ponies on Thursday, He hasn’t been ridden much for a while due to on and off leg issues but was recently cleared for hacks and light arena work. He’s a piebald.
Excellent job by both your girls. Hobbs was right with the corner - mothers are always right! And I love Julia Krawjelski (sp?) Anyway the German eventer. She’s fabulous. 🐴😍
Fabulous exercise, Jam looks amazing 🤩 Don’t forget her physio on that rare forelock 😂😂 always thought she had an extra leg 😂 Omg Winnie has certainly been stamped by her mum exciting 2025 ahead for both girls
So excited for you Meg, the queen is back. Glimpse of Jam when Winnie jumped 😍. Video idea --- King Kenny and Hobbs week in the life of, a tribute to them.
Very interesting, and well executed. From my totally inexperienced point of view, I thought you were not quite making the 90degree turns defined enough. Winnie was having to really think where her legs were, to get the right stride. The drone footage is great. ❤
So many things to love about this Both Jam and Winnie look fit well and so healthy 😍 So amazing that Jam is raring to go Winnie looks alot taller Finally if I were rich I'd pay for am arena extension 😅😅
I was wondering the same awhile ago as I’m from the US, but I found out they’re little bands they wear to show their helmet is up to the current safety requirements. In the US I could show locally in a 12 year old helmet and no one would look twice!
Why give them a day off and jump them the day after? Genuinely curious, we've always jumped/ galloped/ xc schooled or done heavy-ish sand work at the end of the week, day off, then build the workload back up, including flat and jump lessons. System changes if we have a show but still bigger jumping at the end of the week. Definitely stealing the workout 😆
If Winnie keeps growing, you'll be Elphick Event Horses someday! Love seeing Jam back in action, she's my absolute favorite in your little herd.
Yeah, Wilma, Jam, I’m pretty sure of Winnie, etc. are all horses. 😅❤
@@AvaHoliyea Wilma is 15 hands I think or taller but I’m pretty sure she’s 15hh
@@Alainah.G.Mshe’s 15.3
Jam, Dee, Winnie and Wilma are horses. A horse is classed from 14.3
Thank you for taking that time to properly rehab her! All that extra work will definitely pay off in the future and prevent injury! You see so many people including professionals rush things and it only backfires.
Winnie has really evened up in her conformation, looks super.
Lovely to see Jam jumping again! 👏🏻.

Awwe Jammy's such a little superstar, we've all missed her very much ♡
I don’t think you’ll have to worry about Jam wanting to event, like you’ve mentioned. She looks ready and eager to go. 😊

Meeeeee❤
Please stop doing this.
We all love Meg, but you begging for likes isn’t necessary.
Hi Meg, I've been wondering for a while what that greenish blue sticker on your helmet is. Is it for competitions or something?
I was wondering the same awhile ago as I’m from the US, but I found out they’re little bands they wear to show their helmet is up to the current safety requirements. In the US I could show locally in a 12 year old helmet and no one would look twice!
@ thanks!! Never knew this
Great exercise!
I'm curious. How tall was Winnie's sire? 🤔
Does anyone know where Meg’s baselayer is from?
LeMeix or whatever it’s called perhaps?
Can you do a video of measuring all of your horses?
Why give them a day off and jump them the day after? Genuinely curious, we've always jumped/ galloped/ xc schooled or done heavy-ish sand work at the end of the week, day off, then build the workload back up, including flat and jump lessons.
