ive noticed that about alot of youtube "these vehicles are trash because!" or "dont buy this vehicle because of!" videos....watched one the other day where apparently jeep grand cherokees are one of the most unreliable vehicles because of various issues he listed in the video but my friend who has been a certified journeyman and Chrysler master tech for 24+ years never heard of ANY or seen ANY of the issues ever that the youtuber listed off...makes you wonder where they get the info from...probly all California based info.
It's totally redesigned and has nothing to do with the previous Trax.
Really, any Chevrolet is a gamble these days.

@@Scypher0thI wouldn't doubt that the list isn't accurate, but there's no denying Chrysler has been pumping out shit on wheels for a really long time.
Aren't they down to only producing a minivan now?
Don't need a a lot of power to get to point a and b, you want more powerthen up a model. This vehicle has adequate hp.

this video is complete false, the transmission in the 2024 Trax has a rating of 277 ft/lb torque, the engine only produces 162 ft/lb. This over built transmission will last the entire life time without problems. The engine will require diligent maintenance for engine oil as the timing belt is soaked in it. But if properly maintained, the car will last a solid 10 years. After careful considerations, I placed an order on the Trax, for the same money as a high mileage beat up corolla, I get a brand new good looking car. Absolute no brainer
I have a Trax 2rs and i love it there is no perfect car you must do your home work when buying any thing that is a high ticket item like a house will have issues this video is a hater video. So sad.
Having grown up in a GM family, I've owned somewhere near a dozen GM vehicles over many years. None of them was a good experience and not a one would I have bought again. I thought after GM's bankruptcy maybe things would have changed, but after a 2017 and 2020 Chevy, nothing is better, and possibly worse.
