Not wanting to pay a 500 to 700% markup is not being a "cheapskate". It called "NOT being a sucker". Who the hell would pay that if they didn't have to? If you allow yourself to ripped off over and over again, then you're a dumbass and you have no balls. I sneak in my own food and drinks all the time. $6 for a 10 ounce Coke, $7 for a small popcorn, and an $8 hot dog is fucking ridiculous. Only idiots label that as "being cheap". I label it as "not being a dickless fuck". I'll never understand how being a sucker is preferable to being "cheap" in society. If a woman did this (and I dated women who have), I'd be attracted to her cuz it means she's smart. Intellect and cleverness are actual attractive qualities. However we live in a society full of dumbasses that have been trained to not value intellect hence why "cheapness" is an unattractive quality. It's like when I first started making my own cocktails at home. A $12 margarita (plus $2 tip) is really only like $3 worth of actual ingredients (even if you only use high quality liquor). Even the good bars use cheap fillers and lesser quality ingredients than you'd use at home and YET you're paying 5 times the actual cost of the good stuff that they don't actually use. It makes me wanna sneak in my own booze into bars since the nature of American capitalism is to rip you off as much as possible. Again, it's not being "cheap". It's the fucking principle. I refuse to be a sucker in our bullshit society.
