Not all areas in Seoul are as clean but in general with the exception of a very few areas they're very clean for the most part. Itaewon is actually not so clean compared to other areas.

Lovely walk! I appreciate the fact that you walked past (Hyundai Card) "Vinyl & Plastic"! This is where BTS performed 'Dynamite', 'Save Me', and 'Spring Day' on NPR's "Tiny Desk Concert" in September 2020. I remember how impressive the backdrop of this store appeared during their performance. If this pandemic subsides enough for travel, I hope to visit many of the locations you covered during this amazing walk. Thank you for visually taking me to Seoul from my home office in Michigan USA. Very grateful!
Thanks! Recently, I only walk at night as I only available to walk after my work. But, it is quite nice to cover several locations at night, so I will continue to walk at night for next walks unless I have some day offs. Also, Hannam area is always great to roam around at night. It is safe area and easily accessible to Itaewon.

Yes. UN Village is in Hannam. I didn't walk that way, but yes. If I turn left(rather than right) at the end of Hannam The Hill, it will continues to UN Village.

Itaewon has changed a lot if you have memories of 1990s.
It certainly has changed. I was there for the Asian Games and then the 88 Olympics. Left the Army in 1990. I loved and still do South Korea. ❤️💜

There are hard working people for cleaning early in the morning...and Korean normally don't litter a lot. So, I think that is why.

If you want to visit hannam cafe street, Hangangjin Station is the closest.
Also, there are many more famous cafe street.

Is UN Village in Hannam? I have an aunt and uncle that lives there. The last time I visited her was in 1998 though, I'm sure much has changed.

UN Village hasn't changed a lot compare to other part of seoul. There are new buildings, but old buildings are still there.
