- Hello, This is Walk Together.
Today's walk is one of Seoul's Redevelopment area in Yongsan. Hannam New Town is widely spread in Hannam-dong and Bogwang-dong. You can see what Seoul's back Streets looks like. The walk starts from Itaewon Station. Than, walked towards Seoul Central Mosque and Usadan-gil which is also famous for cafes and bars. On this street, you can see the Seoul's night view between alleys. Around these areas are redevelopment area and will become very expensive area as many of them has Han River view and centrally located inside Seoul. So, The walk covers Itaewon-1-dong, Hannam-dong and Bogwang-dong. You will see very old and narrow alleys during this walk, but also new buildings in the area. It's kinda of mixture at this moment and it will become new town like all luxurious building in the future. Let's Walk Together.

오늘은 서울에서 가장 핫한 재개발 구역 중 한 곳인 한남 뉴타운의 야경을 보며 걸어봅니다. 오늘은 이태원1동, 한남동, 보광동을 쭉 둘러보는 코스로 걸어보았습니다. 이태원역에서 시작해서, 우사단길로 향하는 중에 서울중앙성원 모스크에 잠시 들렸다가(코로나 때문에 내부에는 갈 수 없음), 우사단길을 계속 걸었습니다. 우사단길로 나름 힙한 거리 중 하나인데, 저녁에 가면 골목과 골목 사이로 서울의 야경을 볼 수 있는 곳이기도 합니다. 우사단길은 한남 3구역에 속해 있는데, 여기까지 오는 길이 한남 2구역에 속하고 그리고 보광동의 서쪽인 한남4구역에 속합니다. 특히 한남 3구역쪽에는 서울의 야경 뿐만 아니라, 한강의 야경까지 볼 수 있는 곳이 있기 때문에 재개발 이후에는 여기가 얼마나 비싸질지 감이 오지 않는 곳도 있네요. 어쨌든 곧 본격적으로 재개발이 시작될 장소들이기 때문에 기록의 의미를 살짝 더해서 이 길들을 걸어 보았습니다.

내가 제일 좋아하는 동네 우사단. 환락의 이태원옆으로 시끄러움을 잠깐 비켜간 그 언덕길 골목으로 들어서면 아랍 외국인들과 이태원 사원 그리고 길고양이 길 곳곳에 아기자기한 현대적인 카페와 옛느낌나는 가게들이 뒤섞여있고 그리고 골목 아래쪽으로 보이는 서울 야경 골목길을 비추는 오렌지색 조명과 조화되어 묘한 분위기를 만든다. 재개발되고 이 모든 풍경들이 없어진다고 하니 너무나 아쉽다.

해방촌이 고향입니다. 코로나 때문에 분위기가 삭막할거 같았는데 아직 괜찬네요.. 옛날 생각납니다.. 십년전 시골에 내려가서 일년에 두번정도 서울에 가는데 느낌이 새롭네요
조금 조용한 분위기고, 빈집도 생각보다 꽤 보이긴 합니다. 물론 우사단길따라서야 여전히 분주하지만요.
