Pest control - 2 foxes taken with nightvision & .243

May is the time to start evaluating the number of foxes on the farm. A healthy population is more than welcome but too many will put pressure on the other wildlife and will cause problems for our birds when they arrive. Also, too high a density will impact the overall health of the individual foxes as overpopulation will lead to disease, lack of food and possible starvation. Managing the predators on the farm is not only good for the prey species but also good for the predator population's health as well! I spend a lovely evening out on the farm using thermal and IR tech from HikMicro and decide to take two foxes.

I'm mid Cornwall based with a focus on Deer. I've just invited in a thermal monocular. What a game changer. That looks like a mega moderator! Good to see a focus on wildlife management. Keep it up. 🙂

Many thanks for the support! Yeah, thermal really is a game changer, wouldn't be without it now! Pricey but invaluable - problem is, I'm itching to upgrade now!!!
