- an absolute mega day on the bike's with Lewis, kev, ian, George, and Henry around mid wales starting at elan valley and finishing up at Machynlleth. 3 t7s a, world raid, Africa twin and my tuareg
The full version is even better! Stunning scenery, lucky with the weather and I like the way the group helps each other and there’s always someone prepared to walk through a water crossing to find the right line. The wet rock steps about 20 minutes in would have me begging for a Montessa 4Ride mind :-) Great job and I’ve an inkling as to where it is, so it’ll be one I’ll head down to check out.

Yea we have got a great bunch of lads in this group think this will be the gang for this season we are all just planning the next outing 👍 as for lewis leading.... this one was next level proper ride leader helping us all all day proper gent it was just a top day out from start to finish. We started near Rhayader and finished near Machynlleth. Looking like a trip to the peaks for our next group outing im looking forward to it already 👍

Nice ride-along! Did you change gearing? 2nd gear seems very short, you're never using 1st.
Ive made the gears taller if anything ive put a 16tooth front sprocket over the 15 standard so it stays in its sweet spot longer on most trails. I never find the need for first gear it pulls off/up better in second on loose ground
@@ads_rides cool! I've read that the 660 is lacking low-end torque compared to the T7. Sounds like bs watching your videos and it happily thumping along. I'm considering buying a tuareg aswell. The T7 has become kinda un-affordable, at least here in germany. Meanwhile the Tuaregs are sitting in the shops with heavy discounts.
@wb4367 have you seen brake magazine review of the tuareg? Definitely sounds like bs to me or a reviewer not knowing how the settings work on the electrics to get the most out of it 👍

Yea they take a bit of fiddling to get set up correctly but work perfectly they are just cheap cycle mirrors off amazon pm my Instagram if you need a link 👍

And what is your opinion? I’m thinking about installing anlas capra x to my tuareg, how are the capra compared with motoz tractionator adv/rallz and mitas e09?
@oriolpardo7266 i can only comment on the anlas tyres as ive not used the others but ride with people who do use the other brands. I get up and ride the same terrain as the others with these 50/50 tyres so that might give a indication of how these perform. Im very happy with them for the price i pay i cant complain at all dont get me wrong sometimes i wish they was better in mud but then i get bk onto the road to ride home and have a nice ride home without worrying about burning my tread away 👍
Mud is not a problem in the spanish region I ride, thank you much for the quick response! I think I will try anlas!
