Man those some nice looking speakers! I used my Grado headphones to listen to the demos and man those sound great even with all the UA-cam compression! These may be shallow enough to fit in the Accord doors...hmmmm. Great video, Karma better be ready, they are fittin' to be busy!
6:42 Ever heard some RE Audio XXX 6.5C? They don't make em anymore but that component set is mindblowing. I kid you not, you put that set in your doors and feed em all the power they take and you make sure your door is nice and deadened, foamed for no rattles and holes sealed for better bass response.... and people will think you're running a subwoofer even if you're not. Know of any speakers nowadays that smack like that? I'd like to put a pair of those on my 88' CRX.

I have the Aspect 3" in my truck as part of my active 3-way (Savard Rap 6.5 and Savard tweeters). I love my Savards, but have been tempted to grab the 6.1 component set to go with my 3s. The 3s are ridiculously good!
You are doing a good job of bringing awareness of such brands which are not known to many people 👍 How do these tweeters stack up against Morel MT230 which come along with Hybrid's 602 component set.
You asked what would you like to see next so McLaren crossed my mind the 3 way please no disrespect to karma audio them mugs sound like they was getting it but I was interested because of the similar price range on thoughts comparison
You can order a passive separate, but these were focused on SQ enthusiast most of which would run them active. It helped them shaved a bit off of the price of the set
They look and sound great from what I can tell. This is the entry level components they have?? I tried to try and look some up before but couldn't find pricing. Like the looks and sound of them.
No I'm not 100% positive but back in the day Karma used to make some really good stuff for the money. My dad had two five and a quarters in his El Camino and they sounded terrific. I mean they didn't really have a whole lot of bass, but back before the days of CD players tapes decks didn't really have enough power to push speakers with bass anyway.
Well I hate to bust your bubble but I found a set of components that sound amazing and visually put these to shame! Infact they look better than 95% of components speakers on the market .. to me at least, and did I mention they are 3 way components? And they cost me 255$ to the door! I'll be posting up a vid shortly
Do these come with passive crossovers? They look fantastic. Being a 1.75" tweet, can it play lower? If it can be crossed down below 2 khz, that'd be awesome.
I've installed a few of these and still haven't found a speaker in that price I range I like more. Hell I'm even looking into changing my Stevens Audio out to run the Karma.
@@damnitdang I know for a fact the Aspects can get plenty loud. I ran a set passive and they were taking every bit of 175-200rms after tuning. They can keep up with a pair of 12's.
@Michael Ronschke how you like them passive? That's what I'm planning g on doing for now. I had some focal flax on passive back in 2018. They were pretty damn good.

Somebody needs to make a bunch of badass royalty free music and just get it out to all the UA-camrs so for demos and stuff we can actually rockout to some stuff that's more hardcore. Haha.
Silk domes are always the way to go! Check out massive’s ct30, it is a big stupid bullet Tweeter magnet on the motor side but with a soft dome Tweeter on top, so you get a little bit of extra power healing and a super smooth sound. Solid for the price…very warm and full sound sub 3000 hz as long as you keep the crossover 6 or 12db per octave😎
@@kennymccormick8295 no idea, not on here to debate about speakers that cause hundreds of dollars… In my 25 years worth of experience owning and managing mobile electronics shops, also professional installing and listening to hundreds, if not thousands of sets of speakers that has just been my experience. No worries though everyone has their preference! 👍🏼👍🏼
They do have inline filters for the tweeters in the box. Pull out the foam and they should be in there. No need for a lowpass filter for the midbass as the kevlar cones provide a nice smooth rolloff and transition to tweeter.
they are over priced imo. look like generic stamped baskets and terminals on the mid with typical ferrite mags. for $280 hard pass. almost reminds me of a jl audio c1 mid. those sets with a passive can be had for under $200
Not going to bother with this company, went to their website, and just to check out their products you have to email them, really. Why can’t they just have all the specs and prices on the website? This is a small company started by 2 enthusiast I’ve known personally for years you couldn’t be more off base with this comment. That’s not to say you wouldn’t be happy with an entry level JL component set because those are great as well.
Such a bold claim, (including an insinuation that Rob has sold out for money) is patently absurd. One does not simply look at a speaker and deduce its performance and worth.
