I did the hike three summers back in the autumn and it was a liberating experience. Except the monsoon season its always surreal to visit dzoukou valley. Easily the best hike in India.

Few days back i went there. It was the toughest trekking i have made. But the beauty of the valley is way more greater than the strugle and all the tiredness.
It’s a jhum cultivation . Jhum or Jhoom cultivation: It is called the slash and burn method of cultivation. The farmers harvest the forest's trees and burn the plant remains. The ash is used to fertilize the soil, which is then used for farming or cow grazing. The region is left for several years after agriculture to allow it to recuperate. After that, the farmers move on to another location and continue the procedure. This farming method is popular in the Northeastern states of India.

The best time to visit Dzukou valley is during flowering season ...you can witness the real beauty...i just waste my energy visiting it during dry season although the valley was beautiful
Dzouku between May-August is like heaven with flowers blooming green everywhere. Got a chance to visit the place but sadly rain spoiled the sunrise view 🥲
