"International coffee day" ... "US only" 😉
Would be awesome to see you do an international giveaway tho. Greetings from Europe!
sad to me from Philippines who is studying Bar and Beverages, but thank you coz i learn a lot from you
I bought all these ingredients at work for restocking other cocktails by sheer chance. Now I don’t have to spend any additional money to make the drink of the week. It’s a fantastic day! Thanks Anders for all your recipes been loving all of them.
Cheers John!
I still prefer using a regular Negroni recipe, but pass it through an aeropress with a half barspoon of ground coffee. Just gives such a fresh coffee flavour. Sure, it's extra cleaning, but I love it.
Just tried this and it's amazing!
The Mr Black version is low effort/high reward, but I want to try this
:o now there’s an interesting idea. How long do you infuse the coffee for? I feel like an ice cold cocktail wouldn’t infuse well, but the alcohol presumably helps.
I think a blind A/B test is in order!
@@SirZorgulon I’d infuse first, then chill. Given it’s a Aeropress, I’d press over two large cubes (Kyoto coffee style) then stir to dilute, and strain over a fresh cube.
Congratulations on the sponsorship deals! You are my favorite mixology channel. Looking forward to trying bartenders blend!
I struggle with Negronis. Who knew adding just a little Mr Black (which I also love) would make it so much better!
Coffee Negronis hit different!
After getting off of work I came home and made myself a coffee Negroni before hopping on the couch. I opened up UA-cam and saw that you had just posted this video! Perfect timing and great video as always
Serendipitous indeed!
This drink has my name written all over it!!! Metaphorically of course. I mean... How would I actually do it?! I'll stop. Thanks Anders for your fabulous recipes and hilarious jokes. Have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for the coffee by the way. Loving it at home.
Thanks Leda! So happy you're enjoying the coffee! I also don't know how to put your name all over this video - but consider it metaphorically done!
@@AndersErickson You should creat an original drink and name it Leda, just to screw with her. Now there's two drinks with her name written all over it. One metaphorically, the other, well, still metaphorically, but in a different way.
Tried and LOVED it. I just got back from Italy, where I had many Negroni’s…sadly many weren’t that great. But I’ve been enjoying making them since I got back. This was the perfect twist to mix it up. Thanks you Anders!
I do a Chicory Negroni at work. Equal parts Singani 63, Hoodoo chicory liqueur , and Campari. It's fantastic.
That sounds like a great riff on the negroni. I'll be trying that one out. Thanks for sharing.
Outstanding drink and …..WOW!! What a giveaway!!! You are so generous!!
Coffee Negronis hit different. Good luck everyone!
Wouldn't be a friday without a new video from you! Since I have all the ingredients, I will make one right now. Btw. Mr. Black is the best! Cheers Az & Anders
Cheers Stefan! Hope you enjoy it!
Cheers Stefan!
Finally got some Mr. Blacks. Wow! Coffee Negroni is fab. I’ve now tried the class negroni, coffee Negroni, Negroni blanc and Montenegroni. All so delicious. Thanks
Now that looks good!! I do love a Negroni.
Wow this is a amazing cocktail first time am seeing this version I love it ❤❤🤩🤩💯💯🧏🏻♂️ am watching
Awesome giveaway, Mr. Black is by far my favorite coffee liqueur
Cheers Pat!
Awesome Anders, I love it, the cocktail and the video
I bought Mr. Black just so I could try this! Glad I did! Right now, I'm enjoying I guess you would call it a coffee americano. Campari, Mr. Black, sweet vermouth and seltzer water. Wanted something a bit lighter. Very good also!
What a MASSIVE giveaway.!! Well done, sir.
Let’s go! Pumped for the giveaway and pumped to try this Negroni!
Awesome recipe - I got to try this. For years though, I’ve been doing the basic coffee Negroni with just adding a shot of espresso to a Negroni. Typically sub out Campari for an Amaro like Averna, as it pairs better with coffee. Also sometimes just do the classic fernet and espresso as a great mid afternoon pick me up.
I've been making this recipe but with Sipsmith London Dry and Tia Maria and it's really excellent. (So is the same ratio with Tia Maria as a coffee Boulevardier.)
Nice work!
…and good to see the Aussies picking up the tab again!
Haha good call, Tim! Seems the Aussies are pretty alright!
WOW,I bought this coffee liqueur few weeks ago. Trying Make a negroni like drink tonight . When finish , sit on my couch and ready to enjoy the drink, open my youtube and youtube recommend this video.......amazing~~ I must to try your recipe in my second round drink~~
Mr Black is soooo good. It's a required bottle at all times in my cabinet.
Haven't watched the video yet but the Negroni is my favourite cocktail & I love coffee, so I'm excited!
Combining my two favorite drinks: coffee and a Negroni! I'm wondering if this would work as well with a Boulevardier?
You've taught me so much from your channel - my bar supplies just keep growing!
I’m definitely going to try it. Though I am out of Compari. I do however have a chocolate amaro (from South Hollow Sprits in Cape Cod) - with Mr Black’s, it will probably be amazing.
That sounds like a great combo!
only tangentally related, but Mr. Black has been a total gamechanger to me.
Margahrita Negras are always a hit for example.
I have been a very sucesfull Missionary for it, and covnerted several poeple to it .^^
I was so excited about the giveaway then the "US competition only" kick in, good luck to everyone
I love it when I have all the ingredients! This looks delicious! Fingers crossed for the win, that grand prize it amazing!
Hair is looking sharp Anders! Love my Mr Black!
I really like this channel. Real cocktail content.
the prize would be bonus for me the mere fact that i am outside US, the Major Prize is the knowledge, the techniques, the booze that you’ve share to add upon my Vocabulary in Bartendering, Thanks Mr Anders for more ‘Sips and Tips’
This is a great negroni variation, I love it so much.
I love coffee cocktails so much! My favorite is the expresso martini. I've seen Mr.Black going around but I wasn't sure about it. But seeing you Mr. Anders endorse them is enough for me too try them out. Can't wait too try this coffee negroni later! Thank you sir!
Cheers! Hope you enjoy this one!
@@AndersErickson Cheers! 😊
@@therealcap8598 Anders for the win!
Anders, I have made this twice already and love it. You are the man! I double the recipe though.
Thanks man, this cocktail is goooood. Always liked negroni, this, I think will be my favorite cocktail from now on.
Beefeater is my go to, but the establishment I work for owns a distillery now and our London dry is clean but holds some nice citrus notes as well.
Still one of the best giveaways I’ve ever seen on YT. sad I didn’t win it ;) love the channel
What more can you ask for…Negroni and coffee…life is good! Can’t wait to try Mr. Black!
Let us know what you think!
@@MrBlackSpirits bought a bottle and tried Mr Black straight before making Coffee Negronis and it is FANTASTIC! I would recommended it to anybody!
@@deenagonzales1178 amazing to hear Deena, cheers!
I just happened to buy a new bottle of Mr Black yesterday and was greeted with this video when I got home from behind the bar tonight. This coffee negroni was meant to be! 😎
Dude! I just recently got my hands on Mr. Black and wanted to make a coffee Negroni last night. My actual search was "Anders coffee Negroni ". Alas, there was no such video, but 12 hours later and I get the notification for this video! Haven't watched it yet, but I know what I'll be drinking tonight!
I was 12 hours late.. Unacceptable. Cheers to you Eric - appreciate your patience!
@@AndersErickson Pppssshhhhgh...apology unnecessary. On more than one occasion it has appeared as if I know what I'm doing when entertaining friends with cocktails. Appreciate you and Oz.
It's like we read your mind 😂
I just had a coffee Negroni from a bar in Pittsburgh just this past weekend. Good stuff.
I've been really enjoying the bartenders blend coffee. Great job
Thank you so much! Happy you’re enjoying the coffee! ☕️
Mike Trevorrow to the bar!!! Me Black is fantastic
Cheers Mike!
Darn, figures the one week I miss, there's a giveaway! 😀Pretty cool.
Guess we'll need to do another one!
My fingers are crossed for the grand prize, but I can’t wait for it to try this drink (I’ve been enjoying batched Negronis lately). Mr. Black has been on my radar for a while. To the store!
Absolutely love Mr. Black, but you can actually just toss a few dark, oily coffee beans in with your normal negroni stir and get pretty amazing and compelling results.
Loved this recipe! Negroni is probably my go to drink and this was a really nice variation. Had some Mr Black already at home (we live in Melbourne) that we normally use for Espresso Martinis but it works really well in this. I also expressed a bit of orange oil and that made a nice difference. Thanks Anders!
I didn’t have any coffee liquor but I did have a bottle of espresso vodka. I used equal parts espresso vodka, Azurro and Lillet. Made a really great drink.
THAT GIVEAWAY!!! 😱
Gonna make this at work and let customers try this too.
Can’t wait to try this recipe!
Let us know how it goes!
Tried Mr. Black after your espresso martini vid and I was impressed. Since I’ve got all the ingredients this one is up tonight. Thanks for the inspiration. Cheers!
Let us know what you think!
Thank you sir. This is the first gin based cocktail I have tried in a long time, because I am generally not a gin fan. This may change my mind. Excellent!
Lovely recipe especially when you use good quality products
I'm not a US viewer... but I watched the whole video to help with the view time, cause you've helped me out so much with your videos... best of luck to those who enter!
Cheers to you, Scott! Thanks!
Had somethign similar on an italian theme menu we had for a short while,
Malfi Gin Con Arancia
Amaro Averna
Black Twist (Cold Brew Coffee w/ Irish Whiskey)
I have a drink to make tonight. I bought some Mr Black last week to make a revolver. I'm super excited to get home and mix
Enjoy it - Cheers!
Let us know how it goes!
@@MrBlackSpirits A-MAZ-ING!!!! I think I found a new drink in my rotation. Thank you for your great product
@@AndersErickson thank you Anders. You have truly inspired me to make a pretty rad home bar. I watch a few channels, but you will always be my favorite.
Loved the coffee drink
Found your site really liking your videos. Just bought some alcohol today to make this drink. Gotta say not a fan but I’m having fun and you make great videos.
Another amazing recipe. Thx Anders. Seems so good. Love Negroni but try with Mr Black next time.
Why don’t you present us the Revolver recipe ? With coffee liquor too. Perhaps one day ? Really want to have your notice
Cheers 🥃
Hell yeah, this looks amazing.
l would definitely give a try to Mr. Black just by seeing the Owl of Minerva on the bottle!
Sounds delicious! Coffee and Campari sound good together
Amen
Mmmmm, I can’t wait to make it. Thank you!
So excited about this! I was scouring your videos for this recipe 3 days ago. I can’t wait to try your version!
Boy am I happy you came back 3 days later! Hope you enjoy it - cheers!
Let us know what you think Kathy!
Entered! Luv your channel - and this spin on a Negroni!
I never had this before, I need to give it a try sometime. One of my favourite drinks with Mr. Black is the Coffee Glory Fizz they make in Soho. Scotch whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, Mr. black, egg white, shake and soda top. Awesome drink.
Enjoy your weekend Anders, thanks for the awesome video. Cheers
Thanks David! Haven't tried that mashup before - sounds great! Hope you have a great weekend too. Cheers!
That sounds incredible
Probably have never been so excited for a drawing!!! Been looking at coffee grinders lately! Thanks for the Coffee Negroni recipe.
Great video ! Sad to be in France, give away was great. But good Luck to fellow cocktail enthousiast in the USA
A big fan of Mr Blacks…especially to make a Revolver…will have to try this one though I’ll use carpano as…err…that’s what I have 😮
My weekends are my cocktail time and since I found you I prefer making my own cocktails at home with your recipes! Keep it coming.
This drink looks amazing! Off to the liquor store I go!
I make mine with coffee-infused Campari made with my own home-roasted coffee.
The Coffee Negroni has been my favorite drink for a while now though I make mine slightly different. Mine is a simple equal parts cocktail with Mr. Black, Campari and Gin. The ratios feel right and it makes me happy :).
Never thought of using my Mr Black in a Negroni. Back in the days working behind the bar we tried Negretto (with Amaretto) and Negretreau (with Cointreau). Tasty but also a little sweet.
Give it a go!
Such a shame Mr Black isn't available in Canada, I would love to try it!
I tried this out, even as you were going through the process. A new favorite!
This is my new favorite cocktail, amazing balance of flavors sweet bitter coffee and zippy with lemon garnish. Thanks Anders!!
Anders!! Thank you so much for all your content, you've inspired me so much and you've helped me grow such an appreciation for bartending. I've recently been offered a job bartending at the duck inn in Bridgeport (I'm from Chicago as well) and just want too say thank you because without your videos and love for bartending I wouldn't be where I am today.. cheers 🍻
Cheers Steven! Congratulations on the new gig!
@@AndersErickson thank you, sir!
Lovely, though I prefer to have an even split of vermouth and Mr Blacks, otherwise I find the coffee just takes over. Alternatively, infuse the Campari with coffee by just placing a coffee bean in a small amount and leave for a couple of days. Works a treat!
i really like using a coffee infused campari for this drink, but it's nice to see a simpler way that's just as good
I’ll be on the lookout for Mr. Black. I haven’t seen it.
way to alienate all your international viewers Anders! Great way to show them you don't care about your non-USA based fans.
I can understand your frustration. If it was up to me, it’d be international.
@@AndersErickson it's not just you, it's so many channels. And it's disrespectful to the non-USA based fans.
If I was in your shoes I would demand that the sponsor makes it internationally or I would decline at all. (and before you say "but you don't have to make a living of it", I used to make a living of a website, with worldwide giveaways as I refused to do it for just one country)
Great recipe, I'm enjoying one right now. Cold brewed really brings out the coffee aroma.
I was going to enter the sweepstakes, but after reading the conditions I decided not to. Small chance of winning, 100% chance of being on uncounted numbers of commercial mailing lists, newsletters, promotions.
Great channel, expertly edited videos, interesting content. Well done! 👍
I was so excited to make this tonight as I haven't really been in the mood for the bottle of Mr. Black sitting in my fridge for quite a while now. I then realized I used the last of my Campari on Monday (cue sad trombones). Looks like I'll be buying a bottle of Campari tomorrow during my weekly food run. Thanks Anders for this video! Cheers!
Hi Anders, this is very similar to 'Negroni del Marinaio' it's one the most popular twist of Negroni in Italy right now. It's similar to the recipe you presented us but use mezcal instead of gin. It Is a nice combination of flavors 🙂
Love this combo!
Beautiful Anders...thanks.
cocchi has a chocolate flavor, which i imagine works wonderfully with the drink
Entered! Thank you for hosting the giveaway Anders!
Thanks Taylor! Good luck! 🤞
Thanks Anders for the recipe. I do not have Mr. Black Coffee liquor, but I do have homemade cold brew, which I will use. Hopefully, it will be a close approximation of your recipe. Cheers.
Ooooh I just made this and it is delicious!
Delicious! Campari AND coffee? How perfect! Please enter me in the drawing. A very tasty offering.
A coffee Negroni is one of my favorite drinks. I will make mine similar to you, Anders, but I also like to infuse Campari with coffee (like Intelligentsia's El Diablo) and use that instead of Mr. Black. I enjoy the drink both ways - just depends on my mood!
Anders, you wild and crazy guy, this is delicious served UP.
Holy shit. This is shockingly good!
