Dear sir,
have a good day.
i have recently facing problem in a a newly buying Siemens PS2 positioner connect with
existing Single acting linear actuator , 20mm stroke.during comissioning this
new control valve/actuator in initial condition its display shows P 85
and NOINI mode, at that time when i press + and - button the actuator
totally not move.only small sound hearing inside the positioner and some air
release backside of positioner , however pneumatic and electrical connection is
ok.if i place old existing positioner there then it easily move
the actuator after pressing + and - key in NOINI mode.
Moreover when i go in Log 5 ,NOINITM mode 30% open the valve in both
YEND1 and YEND2 once i press both + and - key.once i release button then
actuator go to zero @t doesn't hold at all.If its abnormal what can i do.would you please advice me.
if i press only either + or - button then actuator not move in YEND1 and YEND2
mode.but when i press both + and - button simultaneously then it open actuator
only 30% but not hold at all then when press hand button its display range
message.
will you please advice me its normal or abnormal?if abnormal then what can i do to fix this problem.
Really i am facing a horrible condition for this positioner at my site and i am apologetically wish to get you kind advice please.

first you need to check on your data sheet the exact preasure for you valve.if your preasure is correct kindly increase up to 5bar which is maximum.defends on your valve.also check ang verify on your data sheet for the open and closing time.you can see how much secon or minutes.
second if you check and verify that there is no problem for your air supply and open and closing time limit.kindly check the packing make sure that is on hand tight..give me a feedback of you check that..thank you

@@nickthesaudibloggerchannel4467 sir thanks for your valuable advice.actually same place if i put old existing positioner there then it working good. However air pressure is 4.5 KG there.can you please advice me which log i can change open/close time

@@mr.nizamulhoq851 you can you loop calibrator/mA source you can apply 4-20mA make sure that you have 24vdc supply
