Tycho is everything I'd hoped Explosions in the Sky would one day become.
Mean that's sort of the direction they went with The Wilderness just staying far more acoustic over electronic
i’m here for every lone sample
The best of them in my opinion...

really great!! tychois always awesome. i just think that the energetic drums may conflict a little bit with the smooth, chill atmosphere of the rest of the song :o
+Mau Mou Tycho's newer stuff, especially Awake, is a lot more energetic with percussion, which I think works phenomenally as far as I'm concerned. I thought of the drummer almost as the highlight of the performance.
But yeah I don't think this would work well with Tycho's earlier works.
Does anyone else think the opening guitarline of this track sounds sort of inspired by The xx? I personally like Tycho more myself, but the guitar stylization/tone sounds similar. It's a good thing! :)
I don't hear that at all..
Miazga

whatsup with the occult symbols?
+cosmoval1 Those aren't "occult symbols". Have a nice day, and enjoy the music.
"The Holy Mountain" by Alejandro Jodorowsky.
cosmoval1 I can see how you’d think that. Scott Hansen (dude on the keyboard) also does graphic design, especially a lot of minimalism. The whole point of minimalism is to give you something simple/limited to look at to let you come up with your own associations and conclusions as to what you’re seeing. He has a lot of live visuals like this at his shows.
I prefer the bibio remix
