Talk about a budget increase. This is literally the best CGI animation I’ve ever seen. A UA-camr with limited budget has better animation then most movies with over hundred million dollar budget. Just imagine ray tracing on something like this.

Yes, these are just tests to see how I can animate the characters in the final project. To collect your opinions and make progress and also a little to make people wait. ;)
After the passing of jdf ...it would be insane not to do an updated and longer version of this. Dragonzord. Green ranger. Jdf have a huge fan base . That would watch this over and over.

@@SWATKAT1 No. That was Dragonzord in Battlemode. Megadragonzord is actually the Megazord with Dragonzord on top of it (Basically everything except Titanus)

I loved the draognzord when first saw, though i had wished it had more weapons and abilities though. Techniaclly still sitting in angel grove, often imagine someone finding it and upgrading it making it faster, stronger, more powerful, & more durable that before. With modern cgi and model effects the dragonzord can live again and probally be even more bad ass than before.
It's true. Good reflection.
That's what I tried to achieve.
Then I was faced with two choices. Stay closer to the original physique or improve it so that it has more mobility.
For example, the neck. It was difficult to move his neck without changing his appearance. I decided to stay between the two choices. Mobility but not at the expense of its appearance. I didn't want to modernize him too much because it wouldn't be him anymore.
@@dai_zyujin_cgi I'm surprised the creators haven't brought the dragonzord back, would be interesting to seen it brought back in one other power rangers seasons and somehow it's able to keep up with the other zords. Somehow becoming stronger, faster, and more durable over the year despite not being used over the decades. Maybebsomeone either tinkering and modifying the zord or somehow it is modified itself.
OMG the water looked so realistic the way it moved! This channel is definitely my favorite hidden gem on UA-cam! You did an amazing job!
So, you make me very happy. I am not equipped to create water, but I couldn't create the Dragonzord and ignore water. It has been a very long process of research and creation. Even today, I am disappointed with the scene. This is why your comment makes me very happy. Thank you!

We are our own worst critics, so I completely understand why you would see where else you can improve on the quality of the water animation, but seriously you made the water look better than I have seen in most big budget productions. I took 3D animation classes so I know how hard it is to get the particle effects right and I am very impressed with your work! Every new video I see your improvements and I can't wait to see what else you do in the future! 😁

The way how the Dragonzord shoots missiles from his hands here via the knuckles is an even better design than how it appeared on the tv show. The way how the missiles came out from its hollow fingertips, even as a kid I always thought it looked a little hokey. The Dragonzord having clawed fingertips definitely looks better.👍

Outstanding work! The Dragonzord was phenomenal during the Zordan era. I wished that Tommy didn't lose his Green Ranger powers, and passed it down to another ranger and it would be seven Power Rangers saving Angel Grove, and the world. A job well done!

Holy crap, this was GOOD!!! I absolutely love the music selection, and the fantastic care that was put into the graphics. Oh my goodness it is obvious that everyone who worked on this put a lot of love into it. I especially loved the surprises with the missile fingers upgrades , and the tail blades.
I'm the only one to have worked on it.
I learned by watching tutorials on UA-cam. Even the music I completely reassembled it so that it corresponds to the scenes so a thousand thanks for your comment. ❤

We need a power rangers series that brings back the dragonzord. Even upgrading it, seen some nice redesigns of dragonzord and shame that we never get to see it again. Even though we see past power rangers and some fotheir zords showing up now and again.
