one of my nightnares was that i woke up, then knew it was a dream due to the weirdness of the atmosphere. then i tried to wake myself up from that dream by sleeping and forcing my eyes to open, and it worked. the place seemed different until i also realized that it was a dream. i tried to wake up again but them i kept on "waking up" to a dream until i finally shot out of my bed, scared. i even thought it would still be a dream but everything seemed normal. i thought id never wake up again

I had this weird dream where I was in a room, a bare room, on a bed chained down. The bed was metal. A person came in and looked like a doctor. There was a chainsaw looking thing above me. It turned on and moved down slowly.
When I was a child I have this dream and my oldest parents tells me when I have this type of dream, one person will die and I was like "WTF I GONNA KILL SOMEONE?? OMG SORRY I DON'T WANNA MAKE YOU DIE, SORRYYYY"
Lmao I had a dream where: Saw, IT, Freddy Kreuger, Jason Voorhis, and Texas Chainsaw. Were all hunting me down to kill me but it was weird that all of them were different. But in the end, I was running through the woods from all of them but they were all killing each other at the same time. Leaving only one to kill me, I fell and hit my head on a rock passing out, the next moment I was in this hospital where the doctors were dressed in all white. While walking to I think the cafeteria. I saw a room where patients were being hanged but their heads and feet were missing. When I saw I yelled, and try to escape but there was no way out until I saw a big tall man chasing me (apparently was Michael Myers). As he got closer to me with the knife he had in his hand, I then woke up sweating crazy, and having a sharp pain in my chest. It felt like it was freaking real!

My mother had this book when I was a child, I was always fascinated by it- weirdly enough I even recall the day we went to the bookstore and she had chosen it. Once I was able to read and understand at least the basic concept, probably around age eight or nine when I was less interested in just the pictures alone, I remember feeling more in control of nightmares which had plagued me since I was a toddler (grew up in Alabama where I often was awoken by my mother snatching me out of bed and into the closet while tornado sirens echoed, really screwed up my sleep cycle and carried on decades after). Helped me to stop sleeping in their bed or on the couch right outside their room, I recall laying there one night on cold leather and realizing how utterly ridiculous it was for me to be there rather than the comfort of my own bed, literally one of those "wtf am I even doing right now" moments. Interestingly, I'm someone who has always dreamt in the third person so this book was the introduction into my realizing a way to identify a situation was a dream. As someone who can recall vivid detail of nearly every severe childhood nightmare up to 20+ years ago (I remember the first time I had a "good" dream at 5-6),I have no hesitation in saying this book- despite it's uncanny-valley imagery- legitimately helped me learn to cope with something I otherwise had very little ability to.
I have the ‘naked in public’ nightmare a lot. Usually in a lot of the nightmares I’m the only person aware of my own nakedness and while I’m embarrassed, no one else seems to really notice or care.

I had this chase kind of nightmare where there was like a huge group of butterflies that entered my school and were eating everything that came across them. They ate teachers and students. One nightmare i remember distinctively is when i was really little around elementary school age and i was a curly red head in the snowy woods being chased by wolves but then wolves became my favorite animals. But two days ago i had a nightmare/weird dream (it kept me from getting sleep soo...) and idk if i was the creature or myself but i remember what it looked like it had all black fur with red markings and dark red eyes with crystal like spikes coming out of its back and head and now im trying to draw so i can see if ive seen it anywhere but i can never seem to draw it right and something is always off maybe because my mind make a realistic image more than my cartoony style

One of the scariest nightmares I have had was from a movie.(Dont be afraid of the dark.) look it up. It’s terrifying! When I was a kid I watched the movie. I was like 4-5. Anyway, I’m the movie, the little monsters go into the little girls room and start calling her name and one even crawled up her blanket. Anyway, in my dream the same think happened to me!! And it’s one of those dreams where you can’t wake up even if you were pinching yourself! I remember at the beginning of the dream my mom was carrying me into my bedroom and I saw one run across the hallway. I was shocked and tried to warn my mom but no words came out of my mouth. She put me in my bed and said goodnight then left and CLOSED the door behind her. I was Horrified. I started to hear my name being called. “Quinn!” And I couldn’t move. Then I felt something crawling in my blanket. I looked under my blanket and one was smiling at me and said “QUINN” then I don’t remember anything after that but that movie still haunts my nightmares. It’s called “Don’t be afraid of the Dark.” Look at the first one. Not the second one. Because they remade it. I’m glad I can finally tell people it.

I always have this nightmare where I'm in the bathroom and suddenly the walls falls and I'm exposed to everyone, and I can't hide. The only thing that change is the context but the nightmare is always the same.

My dream/nightmare: I was traveling to the USA with my family in this dream, and we had a hotel, but also a tent outside. I looked at the television, and it was live. It showed a building exploding and people in orange coats, mostly men, falling out of the building everywhere. My dad told me a man had landed on our tent. I looked out. What I saw on the television was happening right here! My sister for some reason had the head of a man inside. It looked like burnt toast with a face. Really gross. I panicked, as I had never seen a dead human before. Not where I'm sure that person is dead, that is. I ran out, and a couple more people were laying dead on the tent. Then I checked my phone. I thought: "There must be something on Google about this." There was. In my feed, it popped up that 3 people survived. They said on a car or something, two men and one black-haired girl. 3 people only. I think it was because I saw a video of The Passenger exploding that day, but this dream was bizarre either way.
Oh this reminds me of the dream when there was a black figure in the corner of my sisters room and I flipped it off and went back to bed. It was pissed and sat on me, my whole body went heavy. Then I was thinking about something else and it wasn’t heavy anymore.
I had a dream where I was a in a two story house. It was very skinny. There were 2 beds on either side of the room, a dresser in either side of both beds, and a TV. I was sitting with my best friend on the bed, and we were playing cards. We decided to go outside and play. There was this cage with a man and a giant snake. The snake was strangling him, so I ran as fast as I could to a trampoline across the yard. It was a long run. I got on the trampoline with my friend and suddenly my cousins were there too. We were jumping together and I looked over the edge to see three little girls with white masks on. My cousins and friend ran, but I slipped when I tried to run. I froze there and I heard the girls coming. They had very high pitched voices, and I remember they said,”A sweet girl, perfect for me.” They poured sugar on me and I screamed and ran to the house. I went to my mom, who was looking at the camera footage from cameras in the room me and my friend were in. There was now only one bed and it was pink with dolls around the foot of the bed. The girls were there sitting on the middle of the bed, looking at the camera. That was the end, thanks for reading! ❤️❤️.(btw this was actually a dream I had! I have a fear of masks.)
Nightmares? My worst one? Being in the middle of my old church with my atheist side of the family discussing a kind of alien or demon that would take the place of someone and the only way you could tell were their eyes. Cut to a bathroom scene (no, not that kind) me and 3 other kids from my school (as I was a freshmen when this happened) were in front of the mirror, and we had no pupils. The part normally colored was all orange and pink, and faded in to white in the middle. They glowed with the lights off and I have NO clue what it meant..
I once had a dream (when I was like 4) and I'm still not forgetting it: -I was at a dark disco and only the colourfull dance floor was shining bright. - Literally a star (yellow with 2 legs, 2 arms and a damn big neck) came up to me and we started a dance battle -I breakdanced and the star began to sing -then everything went black and I woke up

I always have the strangest dreams ever...sometimes my brain can even make up a face by items in my room(while I'm sleeping..it just seems I'm awake)..and it scared me,even tho I sleep with a night light
One of the scariest nightmares I have had was from a movie.(Dont be afraid of the dark.) look it up. It’s terrifying! When I was a kid I watched the movie. I was like 4-5. Anyway, I’m the movie, the little monsters go into the little girls room and start calling her name and one even crawled up her blanket. Anyway, in my dream the same think happened to me!! And it’s one of those dreams where you can’t wake up even if you were pinching yourself! I remember at the beginning of the dream my mom was carrying me into my bedroom and I saw one run across the hallway. I was shocked and tried to warn my mom but no words came out of my mouth. She put me in my bed and said goodnight then left and CLOSED the door behind her. I was
Horrified. I started to hear my name being called. “Quinn!”
And I couldn’t move. Then I felt something crawling in my blanket. I looked under my blanket and one was smiling at me and said “QUINN” then I don’t remember anything after that but that movie still haunts my nightmares.
It’s called “Don’t be afraid of the Dark.” Look at the first one. Not the second one. Because they remade it. I’m glad I can finally tell people it.

I always have this nightmare where I'm in the bathroom and suddenly the walls falls and I'm exposed to everyone, and I can't hide. The only thing that change is the context but the nightmare is always the same.

My worst night mare is one where everybody is normal, the only thing I know that’s out of the ordinary is that I was late to school. But suddenly, every one tells me to ‘throw, swallow,catch’ all the money I have. Then soon, I’m on the roof of the school, talking to my friends. I had an apocalypse nightmare just today.. It started off with lice becoming lethal (I have a crazy mind) then the lice began terrorizing cities and eventually.. destroying the world one by one
Haunted bedroom. Yet I sleep with a big Mimikyu plush next to me and only have ghost pokémon plushies. Mom was asking if I didn't have nightmares and I said: Mom. They scare the nightmares away instead of giving me them. 😂

My dream/nightmare: I was traveling to the USA with my family in this dream, and we had a hotel, but also a tent outside. I looked at the television, and it was live. It showed a building exploding and people in orange coats, mostly men, falling out of the building everywhere. My dad told me a man had landed on our tent. I looked out. What I saw on the television was happening right here! My sister for some reason had the head of a man inside. It looked like burnt toast with a face. Really gross. I panicked, as I had never seen a dead human before. Not where I'm sure that person is dead, that is. I ran out, and a couple more people were laying dead on the tent. Then I checked my phone. I thought: "There must be something on Google about this." There was. In my feed, it popped up that 3 people survived. They said on a car or something, two men and one black-haired girl. 3 people only.
I think it was because I saw a video of The Passenger exploding that day, but this dream was bizarre either way.
Oh this reminds me of the dream when there was a black figure in the corner of my sisters room and I flipped it off and went back to bed. It was pissed and sat on me, my whole body went heavy. Then I was thinking about something else and it wasn’t heavy anymore.

I had a dream where I was a in a two story house. It was very skinny. There were 2 beds on either side of the room, a dresser in either side of both beds, and a TV. I was sitting with my best friend on the bed, and we were playing cards. We decided to go outside and play. There was this cage with a man and a giant snake. The snake was strangling him, so I ran as fast as I could to a trampoline across the yard. It was a long run. I got on the trampoline with my friend and suddenly my cousins were there too. We were jumping together and I looked over the edge to see three little girls with white masks on. My cousins and friend ran, but I slipped when I tried to run. I froze there and I heard the girls coming. They had very high pitched voices, and I remember they said,”A sweet girl, perfect for me.” They poured sugar on me and I screamed and ran to the house. I went to my mom, who was looking at the camera footage from cameras in the room me and my friend were in. There was now only one bed and it was pink with dolls around the foot of the bed. The girls were there sitting on the middle of the bed, looking at the camera.

Nightmares? My worst one? Being in the middle of my old church with my atheist side of the family discussing a kind of alien or demon that would take the place of someone and the only way you could tell were their eyes.
Cut to a bathroom scene (no, not that kind) me and 3 other kids from my school (as I was a freshmen when this happened) were in front of the mirror, and we had no pupils. The part normally colored was all orange and pink, and faded in to white in the middle. They glowed with the lights off and I have NO clue what it meant..

Sleep paralysis, plane crashes, alien invasions, dying. Those are what my nightmares are made of.
I once had a dream (when I was like 4) and I'm still not forgetting it:
-I was at a dark disco and only the colourfull dance floor was shining bright.
- Literally a star (yellow with 2 legs, 2 arms and a damn big neck) came up to me and we started a dance battle
-I breakdanced and the star began to sing
-then everything went black and I woke up
