Any President has less ability to change things than most folks understand. A President's term in office can only be evaluated afterwards. Some of the best were not thought well of while in office. If one group of supporters has a disagreement they could use the same violent tactics against those they disagree with. Once that happens in the United States the republic is lost and democracy dies.
