I love this! Thank You. I have 6 blocks made so far. My question for you is, can the block be made larger? If so how? I am making a Autum Scarf with green, gold, brown and burgundy.
Yes! There are a few ways to do this:
1. Increase the size of your crochet hook
2. Repeat round 3, but you will have to add extra stitches to make it around the motif without it curling in. Try ch 4 between each cluster. If that is not enough, do ch 4 around, with a ch 5 in what would be each corner space.
3. Add a border around the scarf once all the motifs are joined together. A simple dc stitch would work. You can search for crocheted borders on YT to get some inspiration.
The nice thing about crochet is that you can try different things and if it doesn't work, just pull it out and try again! Your color combination sounds lovely!

Is there a way to make the square more defined?
You can block the square to give it that shape. If you want to use a bit of starch, that will hold the shape better. 👍👌🙂
