OMG - thank you SO much! I was wondering what to do about my partly-faded composite door then happened across your video. A tub is now winging its way to me! Thank you so, so much.
Wow…. That’s mental…. The amount of doors I’ve done where the customer wanted the same colour, and I’ve had to trawl through the Ral card to find the exact match …. I’ll be having some of that 👍
I've seen this stuff on the manufacturers website, as I have used their stripping/cleaning products in the garden, which were also amazing. I do wonder how long it will last before needing to be done again though. 🤔
Fantastic job.my red door has been like this for years ,I'm ashamed of it.I've seen many looking the same.I shall definitely be buying this product.Thanks.I've subscribed for more d I y tips.
How do I know if my door is composite? Would this work on something like stucco? I saw that you said metal, so if I have a door handle that is "chrome" will it eat the paint off if I am not particularly good at edges? Would it work on wood?
I just have some scrapes on my “faux wood” door from a wreath that was hanging. I’m wondering if this would help touch up those, (or maybe my scrapes are too deep).
@@shawnbrennan7526 Hi mate. Always worth a try but if not I have done a video on stained front composite doors which I use a Ronseal exterior waterbased wood stain. The results were amazing
@@danielnugentpainteranddeco557 I think my door is more of a plastic/fibreglass material, so I don’t think stain will do it. I tried a touch-up stain marker once and it wiped right off.
Firstly I didn't know Composite doors faded, secondly thank goodness for this product. Thanks for sharing.

Would it work on wood?
@@MommyOfZoeAndLiam it works on car panels. I suppose it could work on wood as a sealer
Did you have to give the door a light rub down to key or was it just straight on with it??
@@rossemslie4861 straight on. Just gave it a wipe over as it had dust on it
So, back to painting again!

Boiled linseed oil isn't bad for a quick cheap result👍🏽
@@Marties888 sound tip mate. Nice one
I was going to say the same. It's the oils that leach out of the plastic that fades it. Linseed oil works on plastic bumpers too. And it's natural😊

What's a 'compostie' door. 🤔
