Thank you for sharing the video. Does Conrad Hotel provide you with a converter for 110V? what did you bring with you to use your US phone and iPad, and other electric devices?
We have a multi country converter and a powerstrip we travel with that has a surge protector. The rooms had USB plugs by the beds to charge your smaller devices
I watched your Conrad bora bora video and loved it. The hubby and I went to the Conrad in bora bora and thought it was the nicest resort ever. We stayed in an over water bungalow there. We are headed to the Maldives in December. How would you compare the two Conrads? Which did you like better? Room category? Resort?
Thanks so much for watching! Conrad Maldives is a stunning resort, but truthfully I think I liked Bora Bora a little bit more. I just love the Polynesian culture and thought the resort was a more manageable size. But that doesn't mean I didn't love Conrad Maldives! We stayed in a sunset villa with pool
@@TheAwkwardTourists I'm torn of whether to do the Conrad or an all inclusive. I'm thinking I will still have to pay thousands of dollars even if I use p points at the Conrad.
@@Ducati311 Conrad is expensive, but you can do it surprisingly cheap. Stay tuned for our budget video that will be out in a few weeks. We paid the room rate with credit card points, and breakfast was included. So it is possible to do it without spending an arm or a leg

I'm wondering how did you manage the upgrade. Usually, this property says that they don't offer complementary upgrade for Diamond/Gold members for free but you could pay for an upgrade. Did you ask to be upgraded for free or they simply do it without asking?

We did not ask for an upgrade. We did, However tell them that we were coming and that we had a youtube channel and would be filming, so I don't know if that had anything to do with the upgrade or we just got lucky

We’ll also be sharing our videos specific to our honeymoon on Adventures of Lauren & Jason after our trip if you’d like to connect :) Although Kelly and Kevin have done an amazing job of showing so much of what we need to know before travelling to the Conrad Maldives! We know that honeymooners get awesome perks at the resort and are hoping to showcase that.

Hi nice video. You mentioned you guys traveled for 48 hours. Did you fly in business or economy? If it was economy how brutal was the travel time? Thank you!
We flew the long haul flights on business, but the last 6 hours or so was in economy. Not that bad
Did you have to ask or notify the hotel when using your drone?
We did notify the hotel. On our tv, which gave us a ton on info on the resort, they had a section on flying drones. There is designated drone area my Ufaa restaurant, but we were granted permission to fly at a few more areas since we were making a video. The main concern was privacy for the other guests, they did not want you to fly over other peoples rooms

Were the Maldives different enough from Bora Bora to justify a second super expensive tropical island vacation?
We very much enjoyed both, and we travel smart so neither were super expensive. And we wanted to visit both, so that's really all the justification needed to spend our money how we want
