- Originally I had planned this to be a shorter, audio drama just to vent a very specific emotion I couldn't express through writing or describe with words. When I saw this ending I finally found the feeling I've been trying to describe all this time, so that's why a few things are a bit different than the original. Thank you Rose Engine for impacting my life in such a positive way

I love that you turned the written notes into audio logs left by Ariane, the voice acting is so phenomenal. The penrose message is also the best thing as well and you don't need me to tell you why

the EUsa 3000 cycle announcement gave vibes of one of those analog horror series of an evil organization announcement
I just realised, couldn't they just give Ariane and Elster a gun with two bullets? Or pills that knock them out forever? Or if she wouldn't want to do it, just self destruct the ship? From what I've seen of this game, the whole point of the Eusan Nation seems to just be evil. Or rather, to facilitate all the suffering that goes on in the game, and with it, its story, all the events that take place.
@@rubinolas6998 maybe the Eusan Nation would be concerned of the crew finding these suicide aids before the 3000th cycle and ending the mission prematurely
Watching the endings already left such a heavy impact on me, but hearing the voice acting for it here took it to a whole new level and left me with tears in my eyes. Fantastic Job
now let's be honest , out of all normal endings promise is the best one , but obviously Artifact is the actual good ending
I honestly took it the opposite way. Artifact might be the worst ending of them all. Sure, it appears as if Elster and Ariane get to share a moment together forever, but it's fake. It's hollow. Ariane is left watching in despair as Elster dances with a shell of herself, knowing she'll never be freed from her torment. Everyone on the Sierpinski continues to despair in their condition, left with no salvation. In reality, Artifact leaves no winners. There is no good ending in Signalis, and I think that's kinda the point. The cards Ariane, Elster, and everyone else were dealt were simply shitty. They were doomed from the start. The Eusan Nation set them all onto a collision course of death, misery and despair.
if you do want a good ending though, take solace in the fact that considering Lilith and Alina's relationship preceding Elster and Ariane's, it's likely that their love is never truly lost, only reborn and reunited constantly
You all did such an outstanding job with this... I love the additional Sound design and Ariane's voice notes were genuinely heartwrenching to listen to. You did an incredible job with expressing the pain she's constantly in. I don't know what else to say except....Well done. Really. I don't know how long you've been doing voice acting for but I think you very much deserve to be proud of yourself for the skill level you've achieved.
I’ve been voice acting for 9 years, I still feel like I have much to learn or sometimes feel like even giving up. But reading comments like these is what keeps me going, thank you so much!
This was the first ending I ever got and left me so sad and confused, but being able to hear the fear in Ariane voice just gave me goosebumps

man, i was literally just replaying signalis to try to 100% it on steam and as i was reading those last few notes i thought "damn, imagine if those were voice recordings from ariane instead of notes. good thing they aren't cuz i don't think my heart would handle it" and, a few minutes later, i open yt and this pops up and i was right; my heart, and please take this as a compliment. did NOT handle it lol.
your peformance is utterly heartbreaking in the best way possible, it genuinely gave me shivers when you started speaking. it made me fall in love with this story all over again.

This is absolutely beautiful VA, you perfectly captured just what I heard whenever looking at these lines of text in-game
I wish you had voiced Elster's narration on things like the garbage bags, Ariane's easel and the damaged coolant system. Still, that was utterly heart wrenching and I don't think I will recover any time soon 😢

@@kuripa_chan She does! It's not something the game really shows you but she can comment on certain things in the world if you interact with them. It's really cool and lets us get a small glimpse into Elster's headspace, however small.
@@kuripa_chan I forgor to post this but what she says at each one is:
Garbage bags: "Garbage bags. In the end, we didn't have the strength to throw them away, anymore."
Easel: "Another unfinished painting. There was never enough time..."
Coolant system: "The reactor's coolant system. It's leaking irradiated coolant everywhere. I tried my best to patch it up, but we ran out of spare parts..."
@@AuroraAustralis_ And than there is Elster's dialogue on her own body in the Personnel Quarters (Ariane's room): "I couldn't keep my promise. Despite my best efforts, I eventually fell Ill, too. It had to end this way."

I would say in my opinion for Ester, that after she is stabbed it wouldn't be painful noises from her, it'd just be an annoyance compared to everything on the road she has been through. Adler failed and is no longer in her way. Determination can drive someone through some severe pain. At least my view, I love this though!
Ah, yeah I can definitely see that! I will admit as much as I love voice acting, sometimes it’s better if games that are open ended like this one don’t have it that way so players can have the freedom to “hear” the scenes as they interpret it vs being limited to the interpretation of the voice actor/voice director, it takes the magic away from the mystery
Especially by her stone-cold stoic expression she always has completely unchanged despite having a deep wound. She definitely gave 0 fucks about that stab.

Имхо, но аниминирование под видео кассету сообщения о завершения операции Пенроуз не очень вписывается в игру, слишком "добро" от партии перед смертью мультик показывать. Но сама анимка очень атмосферная, озвучка вообще шедевр. Жалко, что никакого мода нет :( ток это видео

But i dont care how many cycles i go through, im putting those pieces together and finding the fith ending. That way you can voice the real ending Ariana and Elster have earned.
